Some interesting movements in this one Ciaran. I wasn't expecting that G-F#-F-E progression but it makes sense, especially the G. I'd really like to hear some low harmonies on that part and the C-B part. In fact, I think you might even consider dropping the lead down lower on the "will it come back", like you are talking to the listener.

Also, how about changing the first line of the chorus to "here it comes", so you've got it coming and then going.

I remember living in Newfoundland years ago when the economy was booming in Ireland and there were actually recruiters coming over from Ireland looking for workers. There was lots of talk about the "irish model" of developing the NL economy. Shame on big business, banks and gov..poor managment leaves the working men and women holding the bag (and now it's empty!) Excellent song Ciaran that a lot of people can relate to!
