she's using her omega weapon. you can upgrade your weapons to second tier and then to 'ultimate' weapon. and no, you don't have to complete anything, just need to find/buy the right catalyst to transform it.

@gigidy3121 yup thats the best idea... you get the last crystarium upgrade so u can max to lvl 5 and i got a good tip. If you have the time to do a more "interesting" CP grinding... do it at the Titans Trials at the area to the east at the steppes where the chocobo has to go. All the way at the end is the trials. Can be really hard but u get over 100k cp each time you go thru it depending on how many battles you partake

This is not real. You cheated. You cannot carry 6 ATB bars. Characters can only have a maximum of 5 ATBs. And furthermore, you cannot inflict instant stagger in the US version. They don't exist. Gigantuar is confirmed 100% impossible to defeat. End of story.

@AceOfVoices calm down dude the reason he has 6 ATB bars is because of the omega weapon which adds 1 ATB bar, every character has a third tier weapon that adds an ATB. I beated him, and I have the American version, just got extremly lucky which is sumthing you ned sumtimes. If you aint happy, dont try the boss thats all, FF games are meant to be hard, this aint one of those shooter game evry1 plays which are effing easy these days.

@troysi1 I think this guy has completed the game, and played FF13 for the 2nd time. This means his crystarium has reached the highest level it can get throughout the entire game. Some Ceith stone missions cannot be completed until you have played this game through at least once.

@BigCatGirl123 actually you can reach every Cieth Stone but there's 3 of them that you are highly unlikely to beat before finishing the game. mission 51, 54, 62. 55 could also be a bit of a hassle but nothing to serous. but this guy def. played the whole game already only way to reach 20k HP is by reaching LvL 5 Crystarium.

What accesories did U use in the battle since you already have the effects of both Fortisol and Aegisol items before using them before the battle as items or having members as SYN/ENH since that could make dificult the fight I know, but here u show us that you already have their effects on the battle, Im still trying to defeat this guy but I can, and awsome luck you have in creating a quick stagger agains missions 46 & 55.

I just beat this guy with just the Random:Instant Chain(Energy Shash&SpeedSash,mine was upgraded completely. Don't know if it matters) and I used the Solidarity paradign; Snow(COM),Fang(SEN),Hope(MED). Keep hitting him 'til he staggers, hit him some more. If you think you're gonna die summon, come back and he's dead and you get 4 stars. And you can do this on the first round without leaving chaper 11! Health,Strength,Magic:Snow-106­60,1340,1003;Fang-9500,1876,11­32;Hope-6655,991,1701.

I remember going after the cactor in FFVIII.. it was an optional GF in cactor island...wasnt too hard of an opponent, a pushover really. but it wasnt as hard as this cactor....i tryed nailin some cactors in XIII, and if they go past the third morph or upgrade i cant beat em...but i just beat the game and now i should do some damage to the third form..

A trick for this guy, you wont get a 5 star but u should still kill him easy, use a sentinel as ur controlled chr and 2 ravagers as one paradigm and for the second use ur controlled chr as a sentinel again and 2 healers. Now pretty much if you've got your crystalium maxed as a sentinel you should take at least 3 to 4 of his 10k needs before going to red hp. So attract him with challenge then use 2 ravagers as ai to attack him, he will only be attacking ur sentinel and if low hp then use 2 heals.

This is a joke. No Cactuars can be defeated period. They are real chickens and won't allow anyone to defeat them. So to all players, give up on the Platinum trophy because seriously, it doesn't exist. Square Enix removed it upon the final release for the US version. It's true.
