hi, i was wondering, can you use the generator continuously as long as you have it plugged into the solar panel, or do you have to charge and use, or as long as you don't put more demand on it then it can collect ??
Hello Mike i was wondering where you got that solar panel because i have made a solar charging box with 2 solar panels one 16 v the other 4.5 v, a 12 v battary, a small 3 v radio, and a 12 v fan. i want to do more with this but i need more power. I am 15 years old and i am doing this for two resons for camping and for a school science project. the more power i can get the better for camping it will be and the better my grade will be. So if you can give me any ideas i would be very thankful.
I bought one of these last month. It is GREAT! PLUS, you can charge it up with house current as well, which makes it twice as versatile. All I want to know is: can you plug something into the generator(such as a lamp) while it is charging with the solar panel?
Heating elements take too much power normally for a solar or wind application. Need to find an alternative to heating without an element.

will it have enough power to run an electric heater for about an 8 hour period?

A cloth or cotton taped to the camera will fix the wind issue.

Yes! You can have something plugged into the generator while the solar panel is connected and charging! If you have any other questions, let us know!
