In game this song was so stunningly beautiful - it sounded so sad yet so peaceful. I stopped right before talking to Zia and listened to what she was actually saying - but didn't understand the meaning.
As the game progressed I kept reflecting on the song and the more I played the more the song made sense.
By the end of the game the lyrics all made sense; and while the sound is still peaceful and sad, it strikes me this very well might have been an Ura battle-anthem during the war.
When I heard this in the game, I was stunned, entranced. I thought it was beautiful.
Hearing it now, with the lyrics, I can actually understand what it means - how it encompasses the bitterness between the hole-digging Ura and the wall-building Cael. And I can see it's so much more than just beautiful...
Despite having already finished the game, listening to this OST as a separate entity really is entirely worth the experience. I think I might even head over to supergiant and pay some hard earned mula for the privilege.
Lyrics: I dig my hole you build a wall. [x2] One day that wall is gonna fall. Gonn' build that city on a hill. [x2] Someday those tears are gonna spill. So build that wall and build it strong cuz we'll be there before too long. Gonn' build that wall up to the sky. [x2] Someday your bird is gonna fly. Gonn' build that wall until it's done.[x2] But now you've got nowhere to run. So build that wall and build it strong 'cuz we'll be there before too long. Enjoy! (x2 because of characters limits)
love this song to death. When i first entered the map playing this music i fell instantly in love. Especially with the ambiance in the game along with it.

I personally think the hole is a sapper's. Like, one that undermines a wall.
Either that, or a bunker. 0_o
