But He grabs his rifle and stands, turns to the battle not caring if he dies, for he has a reason to fight, . Because now war has hit home.. Dead center...

now imagine the family being rushed to the huey by soldiers as war rages all around them. the family is loaded onto the huey, but the father stays behind knowing he must stay and fight. The father mouths the words to his daughter "It'll be okay" as the huey takes off. An enemy fighter jet spots the huey as it takes off. It engages thinking its dropping off soldiers. The father sees the missile, and tries single the huey, the missile flies to its destination in slow motion.

This is an idea i thought while listening to this, it may seem stupid but fits perfect to the music if you imagine it as i did. imagine that there is an invasion of the U.S. there are home video shots of a father in the National Guard with his family and on the job. Now cut to the father and his family running through the streets in his A.C.U shooting his rifle, his daughter crying in the mothers arms as they runs. The family get to what seems to be an evac for civilians, a huey lands slowly

It's funny that the only sounds in the original trailer are this haunting melody, the screams of the little girl, and the howling of the zombies. It makes you wonder what direction they're going to try and move the game towards: Cinematic, survival style horror with a strong plot line, or another L4D/Dead Rising clone. I'm hoping they run with the former; there's enough mindless zombie killing games. I would love to see some good, well developed storytelling with my zombie apocalypse.

@wertitis I don't know an awful lot about the Dead Rising storyline (though I know there is one), however, there is a plot to the Left 4 Dead series, you have to pay very close attention to smaller details and go to other media outlets besides the game itself. Here's a fun fact for you (spoiler) the character of Left 4 Dead actually have the virus in their bodies, it lies dormant however, using them to spread the infection, so the military is actually trying to round them up.

@Hexist2 Of course, I don't mean to say that neither L4D or Dead Rising don't have plots, but they take back seat. They are about short term game play, which bugs me because there's a lot of storytelling potential to be had with zombies, if they would only take advantage of it. A good game becomes great with a deep and involving plot that snares the player, and satisfies an emotional quota. They're tugging at the heartstrings with this trailer, I wonder if the rest of the game will reflect that.

This song speaks to me in so many different ways. But primarily, it's the feeling of a loved one, be it a father, mother, girlfriend or boyfriend, trying to comfort you in a time of dire need. It's saying to you, "Don't worry, it's going to be alright; even though it may look like it's hopeless, we'll be together. I promise." There is also bits of a heroic touch in the middle of the song and then it ends with a happy sense of closure. Phenomenal.
