@beeju : Parsley is different. It has a different aroma and flavour. Cilantro and Coriander are same, though in English coriander is generally used for the dried variety.

Hing is not very important ingredient .. it is only used for digestive properties... although u can try Indian spice stores for... Hing (Asafoetida). or if u want u can use another spice instead of Hing' ...called (Carom seeds), which has the properties too.

for stuffing you can use samosa filling or aloo parathas filling add more green chillys if you like hot and serve with hari chutney.
Take out all the sides from bread cut them in half and sprinkle the water so bread little moist now put the filling between two slices of bread press it from all around and dip in thinner bateer and fry.

Of course, the batter makes a crust righta away and the inside will just cook from the heat of the surrounding oil. What I wonder is, isn't the bread too dry, if you think pakoras are usually made with veggies or panir, that have some moisture?

Try it you will be surprise bread will not soak the oil.

Of course, the batter makes a crust righta away and the inside will just cook from the heat of the surrounding oil. What I wonder is, isn't the bread too dry, if you think pakoras are usually made with veggies or panir, that have some moisture?
