I was at the last recording Bill Gaither did at his studio before he started taking them to special venues. After the days recording Bill had a HUGE feast for the Homecoming Friends in the warehouse behind the studio. I remember talking with Mary Tom, Rosa and Faye and Brock looking a little lost. I was later told by Ben that he had Alzheimers and had suffered a stroke. He passed away from complications of these 2.

If anyone has this video I would love to see it again. You can see the effects of the stroke on Brock in the video.. And even though he suffered from Alzheimers he never forgets the words. Godspeed

If I can stop crying tears of joy long enough, this has to be one of the most moving videos ever. The faithfulness of the Speers, and the love of all the group for them is overwhelming. I love the Gaither group because the love between each other is so evident. "Loving God, Loving Each Other".

Everytime I listen to this I still just sit and cry and now Brock has been gone 11 years. WOW how it flies but what a blessing this song and the Speer family. So many of these Old Friends are gone now. How wonderful heaven must be sounding. Praise the Lord we have these videos.
