WKAP has a bit more of a produced sheen to it. The first TDD album will always be my favorite for its rawness; the fact that you only need a piano and drums to rock that fucking hard.

It's impossible to sing it properly, she admitted herself in an interview that they had to edit the voice track together in the studio for the album. No human being can exhale for that long :D

okay i've always wondered.. what is the difference between amanda being solo and then the dresden dolls. think about it. the songs are like practically the same. but they are still awesome anyway

Even more freedom: Brian isn't there to play along and doesn't have any input. And usually Amanda solo is just vocals+piano.

The difference is subtle, I guess. She does have here strong presence in anything she's involved in of course.

I actually find a great difference between TDD and AFP. Amanda is more crazy solo, and went all out. I really can feel a difference without Brian's drums, bass, guitar, vocals and other inputs he had. Both are awesome, however.
