my mother made me watch this...; it was a late movie, not too many years after the real thing. I tried to hide my tears... this movie made me a romantic. i think this is what it's all about. love is a many splendid thing... everything else is just an introduction.

@ttlms I read that somewhere too. She really bonded with the animal for the making of the film, and then to have to shove it out into the rain--well, you can't explain to a cat that it's nothing personal. For Audrey and Cat's sake I hope they only had to do that take once.
