Wow Meat Loaf's on good form here! I don't think the combination of Rock and Opera works in this case but totally worth it just to hear Meat belt out this classic... He may not be quite as good as when he was younger but he's by no means lost it and can still carry the song. He's a million times better than modern rockers despite being in his sixties.... I never said he was "incredible" here. He was great and I will be seeing him live on July 8th. True he's not as good as he was in the 80's or 90's but either are you or I. Compared to this lady he was signing great and carried the song.

IMO Meat Loaf is one of the most underrated performers of all time and for him not to be in the Rock & Roll HOF is a travesty. If that makes me a "crazed fan" so be it.

@topcat42 Oh, I'm not knocking Meatloaf. I'm just stating the obvious. An opera singer doing this song sounds awful. The female part in this song requires a rock 'n' roll singer belting it out. Meatloaf doesn't have the punch he did back in the day but that's to be expected. It's been like 30 years and he wasn't exactly a "healthy living" kind of guy. He still kicks major butt. I'd definitely pay to see him live.

I made the mistake of listening to the original really loud right before being exposed to this. Holy crap this is awful! Meatloaf's struggling through it as it is without the opera Diva adding many layers of suck to it. Yikes!

@Wigwarlock As far as im concerned the only rocking he should do is in a chair.Can you honestly say he can still sing great?.Most singers have off performances,but thats different to what meat has,he simply hasn't got it anymore,and theres nothing wrong with saying your fave singer cant cut it anymore.There are singers who were once fantastic,but they just have no spark anymore, and sebastian bach from skid row is one of them.I also persoanlly think he cant cut it anymore.

Great performance by meatloaf even though she ruins it with the opera. This song shud be belted out not sung opera style. It looks like they have re worked the song to fit her rather than her re-work her style to fit him. She TOTALY RUINS THIS SONG!
