  • Comment removed

  • @geniemist I was just talking about equivalent alternative

  • WOW! You can move your body!! WOW!! It`s incredible!1eleven

  • finnaly someone who has an idea what they are friggin doing!

  • Coffey much?

  • Wow nice to know that other people use the tibloc ascender even the military.

  • Very good demonstration! Much better than the Petzl Stop

  • hes using a normal gri gri the only difference with this one is the rope keeper on the side gri gri is a auto lock (stop) belay device look them up there are two models 1-2 the seconds one is smaller

  • no it is a gri gri but gri gri's arnt self locking only if the rope is held down that is y there is a silver keeper

  • " Available now, $420" WTF!!!?

  • it's black a gri-gri

  • @Dawidgi

It is not a gri-gri, if you use a gri gri like an exo you can injured yourself really easily. BE CAREFULL!

  • so its basically a gri gri with a handle

  • you could build your own

Petzl GRIGRI-1 or GRIGRI2 or Trango Cinch

    sterling PER rope 7.5 or 8mm 15 meters = 50 feet

any bag you feel can hold the amount of rope

auto locking carabiner 2x and or Crosby firefighter hook

    and "RAPPEL TRAINING"

  • @geniemist it comes with rope(50ft.), the EXO device, a carry bag, beaner. that's why. sorry if i'm only repeating this to you.

  • what are u goint to do if terrorist comes with knife... and cuts your rope

  • @geniemist

    Quality ;)

  • I'll stick to prusik knot rather than using tiblock ....

  • That thing is called STOP DESCENDER, right ? :D

I used it, but not the same as that one :)

    Ya, it's pretty cool

  • I did this bunch of times, and i am only 14 years old :S

    :D

  • Times rappelling was tactically effective in the history of US law enforcement:

1!!!!! To tranquilize a tiger in a multi story building.

  • His speech impediment is awesome. I want to hear him say 'squirrel' a bunch of times.

  • What happens if he drops his secondary weapon, he'd be screwed, it'd go spilling to the floor, perhaps he could do with attaching it with some kind of lanyard.

  • tiblock is a rope killer only use in an extreme emergancy i wouldnt wont to use that rope again would be much quicker with a croll

  • 360€ -.-

  • His beiner looks like it is tri-loaded on his harness :S good thing its probably made of steel.

  • Baaaddd rappel technique he has his right hand to close to the system his glove or his finger can get stuck in the EXO grigri, the correct gay is to have his right hand in his butt

  • $420 ??? really???

  • @Polenar it comes with a 15m rope

  • @nickblickpage

That doesnt mean anything - i bought my 50 meters, 11,1mm static tactical black rope for 300$

and now im getting 25 meters of static black rope for 70$

ropes are not so expensive no more and you have a lot of much much cheaper and even better belaying devices out there

in my opinion this thing is overrated

  • Whats the part he holds in his (!) left hand at 4:37?

  • @Eastpak1984 Ah, okay, Petzl TIBLOC

  • sí, el gri-gri permite matar mejor a la gente. Enhorabuena gringos.

  • whre do you get the petzl tacticl exo eashook, sling, and other climbing tools and how are you able to find an area to do this video

  • dude this is sic i am buyen one now

  • It's a glorified gri gri. With a sweet backpack full of rope

  • I am also curious as to the single handed rap method, in case of "panic pull" did you train to pull hard on the brake strand so your hand pulls off the handle? if not if you officer pulls harder they will just go faster.

  • The tibloc is loaded wrong, you should be capturing the rope in the biner when you attach it. also you can use the foot loop to ascend while using the brake strand (bight) redirect. you may also be able to redirect the brake strand and redirect it so that you pull the brake strand and winch yourself up without creating slack between the tibloc and the device. a tiny lightweight pulley sauch as would be used for cravasse rescue might help a lot when ascending or hauling.

  • @coolcat83 i think he knows what he is doing

  • @takamine206 im with coolcat83 hes got most of it right

  • Where can you buy those from?

  • I thought stuff like swinging or shooting through windows from a rappel line was for movies and games. Didn't know there were actual units that train in that area. Great video! I love tactical stuff.

  • looks pretty sweet
