You can argue this story on its own merit. To try to get Weiner off the hook because someone did something wrongerer is petty and makes you a tool. Weiner put HIMSELF in the public, held press conference after press conference, with the intention to lie and make us out to be fools. He took a gamble and lost, and whatever happens is a consequence of his own poor choices.
