oh and I forgot to say, you make that point wonderfully clear and real, it may not sound the best, but in theory, if you play a squire for 9 years and then pick up a American Strat, you'll play better then anyone being the strat is easier to play due to its quality, its how I learned, but my squire was smashed, thus making my action so high :P

I own this exact guitar and can point out it's flaws. But it's a fucking beautiful guitar, and I can afford buying others. But I'd never trade that guitar for anything.

The only flaw is the de-tuning through excessive use of the tremolo bar. Other than that, it's a perfect creature.

I imagine that guitar is built of particle board or something similar. Hardware and elect. must be attrocious. The playing is really good but.... It sounds bad. I can hear the strings over the amp, you would have sounded better with that super cheap guitar if you had just used a decent amp simulator like Guitar rig 4 or Revolver III. Using an amp simulator is more cost effective as well, if you pirate software that is. So basically you could have used 200 dollars towards a better guitar, of course you don't need a better guitar or an amp sim because you already have that.

How true this is. Expensive gear doesn't mean that you practice the basics less(chromatic, picking exercises). Riffguy just didn't pick up a guitar and was this awesome on the first day. It took two. LOL. I am very sure it is a product of hard work and years of mastering his craft. A guitar is a tool it doesn't make you play any different than you already do now.
