More globalization and interdependency will result in better efficiency and therefore less jobs and lower wages. Exactly the opposite of what this dummy and the vast majority of people want. On top of that, if the global system fails, EVERYONE goes down. I'd say the world need to be dividing into local, independent and secure economies.

Also, if you look at the trends occurring in other countries, nationalism is on the rise. If this is about trade, then why describe it as something that sounds like tearing down borders? Good fences make good neighbors. One world govt is the definition of tyranny. You don't have to tear down borders in order to have fair trade
