If you don't mind the spoiler, Bambi almost kills another doe, plus they revisit the area where the Great Prince met Bambi's mother. The songs are really sad too. Just...the whole thing is sad - particularly when Bambi's left on his own as the other does arrive to get their fawns.

When the other doe gets caught in the trap and he leaves her behind - is the "almost" part. He doesn't and instead defends her against the dogs. (Eeevil white man and his hunting) XD

I'm doing this with Ulead Video Studio so I don't know about MovieMaker. But I think you have to convert the VOB or whatever files into AVI or MPG first. ... hope thats right!

Try ImTOO DVD Ripper. I'm not sure if there's a limit to the free trial version but it's quite good anyway. You'll have to rip DVDs in five-minute clips, though.
