hahaha it can be me only but i can not get my nano kontrol work at all , i have the key the pad those can make some noise but the control ... nothing it shows and everything or even flashing once any button or slider been moved but just simply nothing is changed ... i watched a hundred tutorial and none of them were showing actually what to do it is mapped and bla bla bla and no noise
I am going to dowlonad Ableton because i really want to get into making stuff like this. I am plannin on getting a korg nanokontrol. I dont realy know where to start off though! Do yo just assign different loops to the different sets (1 through 9, 1knob 1slider 2buttons per set) and just fade im in and out and apply effects and stuff? I dont realy know where to start / HOW to do this stuff : /
unfortunately they are not rotary (in other words they stop), so banking on the knobs doesn't really have a point. but the thing is like 60 bucks, so how much do you think they can put in there?
@christianamagic you creat a beat in ableton, then you assign the different knobs n shit to different parameters relating to the different parts, that machine literally does nothing but acts as real buttons/knobs instead of the fake ones on your screen
hey man plz help me...i got this thing knowing nothing about like an hour ago and i still have no idea wat it does lol...i have aberton live demo installed, i have the korg editor installed, and the korg usb midi installed which idk wat thats for either...plz tell me how to play with it lol...thanks man love the video btw
So in Ableton live, in order to control a parameter or button, right click on it and select the midi map option. You will then see the whole ableton interface with blue over the various controls. Select any virtual knob or button, and then move a control (or turn a knob) on the nanoKontrol, and Ableton Live will automatically detect it. Once you exit midi map, you will be able to control that parameter with your chosen midi button/knob
i have queston bro if i have samples where should i put them in in midi or audio? in the ableton software?

can this thing zone in on one midi clip or sequencer and modify any parameter in it? Like can it chance the amount on a low pass on one clip?

@OmfgPwnag3Duhh I think would have to put the clip in a separate channel, because only channels have audio effects you control.

Wow, that's great. Does this controller work with ReBirth?

nice vid :D. how did you set it up so that you can play keys from the pads? I can get it to work as a control surface but not as a keyboard D:
DilutePeople 1 year ago
@DilutePeople the editor software you can download from korg allows you to program which buttons correspond to which midi notes.

Just one question. Do the knobs spin round endlessly or do they have a stop and start point?
Thanks.

Hi, can I ask something? Did you already put the audio inside then you play around with it or you created the beat ?
Thanks so much

Do you have to save that Live Set as a template in order to keep the control settings?
