i was able to achieve the same effect of this mod simply by changing the color settings on my monitor, and cell shading looks like poop, didnt attempt to configure it though

This isn't color correction because there's nothing wrong with the color in the first place.

This is just color changing.

When I install it, the image just looks sharper and brighter that you can't even see the letters. Am I doing something wrong? I put all the required files in the AC2 directory and then once I played the game it looked like how I explained. Do I have to change the settings in the game? I have everything in default except for details.

Does SSAO work in AC2 via the config you made? I have tried it and it seems to work but it doesn't make too big of a difference other than making everything a bit darker... maybe that is just the color correction doing it's thing i'm not sure.

If you are using the mod, you should increase ingame brightness to 6/10 and it should be better...

no you wont suffer fps drops with the mod unless you activate ssao in the config...
