@LJJ23ARSRUL It's a visual joke. The BBC One ident is always based around a circular theme. Taking Albert Square and effectively turning it into Albert 'Circle' was how the corporation promoted EastEnders' anniversary week in keeping with the recognised format of the channel's on-screen ident.
