  • did you notice when he was walking with regan that he looked just as old 20 years ago as he does now lol

  • These ads just aren't very inspiring. People don't want to hear shit talk, they want to hear a positive message. That's what people vote for

  • McCain would have been better than Obama, but that doesn't say much. It's not like Obama left either war

He would have just favored the rich. Hell, and I'm a Republican! That means there's a problem. Actually, I'm a Libertarian technically

  • Whats wrong with a 1 million dollar woodstock museum?? The lincoln memorial cost more in relative dollars!!...theres something wrong with a 1 trillion dollar iraq war tab....which mcCain voted for.......its called " the iraq war appropriations bill"

  • Thank God for small favors... And John McCain...

  • @CorsairLuke Thank god he lost.

  • Is he walking with reagan?

  • McCain will save our country from thug obama. Who the hell wants a chicago politician for President?

Obama belongs with Kwami Kilpatrick...in prison, they are both "Ya'll's boys!"

  • WTF Jhon McCAin sux!

  • this ad criticizes the bridge to nowhere, but his running mate was one of its biggest advocates until she realized it wasn't going to happen

  • that's what being on the right is! going towards democrats leans towards Socialism, which isnt freedom buddy....history for you....who defeated slavery? Repubicans. now please tell me how making individuality and the freedom to do what you want to do in this country is less free? you want to vote for someone who changes your medial coverage to government control? more government programs = more government control = less freedom = socialism. SOURCE: POLITICAL SPECTRUM.

  • a typical ignorant person who has no respect of someone standing up for your freedoms to only get people like you to put them down....sad....and you have no point or excuse for your idiocy!

  • Your right "jessenicholas1" your ignorance is typical of your kind. Did you listen at him? In Dec. 2007 he blamed a bridge to nowhere on Democrats and later brought on Palin as his V.P. pick, who was at the center of the whole thing. How stupid is that? I don't make over $250,000; I'm a grad student and when I do, I won't mind giving back so....to hell w/McCain and to heaven w/Obama...Oh...can someone please explane McCain's tax plan to me..PLEASE!!! McCain cool off w/your angry personality

  • what you dont seem to understand is the psychology of people and giving them freebies....money isnt the answer to welfare! Come on! take some basic psychology of people and how they act when they get free stuff, they wont work....good lord america has changed with people like you.....i'm scared to see how screwed up its going to be...

  • Well right now at this point "Big Businesses" are getting freebies while their employees are working hard and paying them in taxes. Why? I really don't care what you think of my kind, it won't change me or my opinion at this point. They are based on what I believe, as it relates to how I feel about community and the U.S. as a whole not one person's reality to a situation...OBAMA '08

  • You are a grad student? you might want to learn how to spell. The word is explain. By the way that $250k appears to be a moving target. In Obama's last speech he said $200K. Joe Biden said $150k. i own a landscaping business and have over $250k in gross receipts. I will probably have to lay someone off next year. I guess I can always go back to grad school

  • jjtoms23 Yes, I am a grad student and it was an error; thx for the correction though. Didn't hear his last $200K remark nor Joe Biden's $250k remark. Please share your source. The fact is that there has been mis-management in big business and some are tired of depending on others appropriate runnings of their businesses to live. He'll survive and save in taxes on his next job. Hopefully the new job will better prepare for his/her security.

  • As an independent I would like to point out that the bridge to nowhere he is referring to was talking about Palin. The other two bills he wasn't even around to vote on. We need to stop defending all four of these candidates and hold them all to the truth.

Currently McCain is behind on the polls so he is on the attack.

The demo's are trying to make sure they stay ahead so they are on the attack as well.

Lets be adults here and focus on the issues not smokescreens!

  • You know, it really shows how insecure the Dems are when they have nothing better to do than to get on here and post ugly responses. YOUR RESPONSES DRIVE US TO BE BETTER AND GROW STRONGER. YOU ARE FUEL TO OUR FIRE!!! WE WILL PREVAIL. KEEP IT UP!!!

  • Christigray004; Talk to the Dems on Wednesday, Nov. 5 2008....OBAMA '08...

  • nola70126: GET A LIFE. You are a right fighter. You'd rather be right than happy. Find something more productive to do with your time. I'll pray for you.

  • Christigray004...I have a life and you're "right" i am a "right fighter" which would make you a wrong fighter...thx for acknowledging!!! I don't know who you pray to, with you being a "wrong fighter" and all, so your prayers are rejected as far as they relate to me...I do what I want with my time, supporting Obama and all and I pray for him which seems to be working...I am happy with everything...you should be to....OBAMA '08!!!

  • I got the message you sent to my inbox, which was unnecessary Christigray004, you are who you are and for you to call me angry is silly. I am a Christian as well but I recognize that we are not the only group to live here. We have to be respectful to all. I have never sent you a message in your inbox and I never will because this is not personal for me. I'm not rude, it's your interpretation of me...

  • that i can't control and nor do I care to...If you respond to me in anyway, personal inbox or response to comment, I may exercise my right to speak about it: rather you like it or not...STAY OUT OF MY PERSONAL INBOX...BE AN ADULT AND POST YOU PREJUDICED OPINION FOR EVERYONE TO SEE!!!

  • at least democrats are not racist, and predjeduce. And jesus-christ stop that neo-nazi "YOU ARE FUEL TO OUR FIRE!!!" bullshit. Go ahead, and post your insulting, and degrading comments, I won't be surprised because people like you are bullies. Your traditions, and values are loosing thier influence, and you can't stand it, so people like you scream insults, and battle cries, even as your party collapses under the inevitable forces of change, and progress.

  • @revnede Your comment is "insulting and degrading" in its own. People like you preach about tolerance and openmindedness, but label anyone and everyone who doesn't share your views as being a "racist," without ever explaining how. You can't take part in an intelligent debate about the issues, so you stoop down to bullying and name calling. Democrats are racist-they separate people into groups by labels and treat minorities condescendingly.

  • It's really amazing that McCain makes a big deal out of this stuff and uses it to make him look good. I agree it is wasteful spending for the Federal Government, but we're talking about maybe $1,000,000,000 here. What does Senator McCain propose we do with the other $3,099,000,000,000 in the Federal budget for 2009?

Yeah, he's gonna reign in wasteful spending...

  • John McCain has a super record on stopping wasteful spending and the libs have a great speach maker.... I think that sums it up!

    McCain/Palin 08'

  • Ya... stop that wasteful spending in Alaska! Go getem John!

  • Ya, go stop those big Alaskan wasteful spenders...wait, wat?

  • This irritates me!

He's talking about milions but the War in Iraq alone costs so far over half a TRILLION $. This is *really* making me angry! Does he have anything like a shame?!

  • he wants to stop stupidious funding but is supporting the war in iraq that costs 10 billion every month. Mccain Get the fuck outta here

  • That war is being fought to protect your a**!

  • @dagisto1987 I'd love to know how it costs $10 billion a month.

  • priceless. he picked the gov of the bridge to nowhere to join his 'maverick' team.

too hopeful of me to assume he still shows this ad?

  • This would be a great ad if I didn't research the truth. Isn't therer anything they could use that could tell the truth? Who are the writers for McCain? Can't they look up his history to tell the truth? These ads hurt McCain not help him!

  • Lier, lier pants on fire.

  • Hurm. I think that studying DNA might be kinda important. I would like to see wildlife restored rather than see $150.00 bounties on wolves in Alaska... cough... Palin... cough.

  • Ooooh he even resurrects Reagan!

  • So he chooses a crook who was for the bridge before she was against it. And then she kept the money. Sheesh!

    What liars the McCain/Palin are!

  • He WILL stop wasteful spending ... for everyone earning less than $250,000, orphans, the environment, healthcare, daycare, education...and put the money back in the hands of the conglomerates where it will be safe.

Paid for by the Committee to Elect

    "Honest" John & Moose Palin

  • He is SUCH a lying piece of CRAP!

  • Johnny Mac, if it is so "Outrageous" why did you vote for it?

  • Ummm.. he didn't?

  • Johnny Mac is an old out of touch professional politician who is worth more than 140 million dollars via his current wife who he was having affair with while his first wife was in the hospital after a car accident. This is a person we can trust? NO WAY! His current wife at the moment..She's an admitted pill head and a thief!

  • WTF 3 million is crap compared to the BILLIONS the givernment has nether of those things seem overly priced for the american government

  • yeah he will just continue to throw our money into the giant trash can known as IRAQ

  • Iraq is not a waste of money. It is a war to protect your American ass!

    VOTE FOR REAL CHANGE!

    McCain-Palin 2008

  • haha, people need to understand that if they think the war in iraq is expensive....wait until universal healthcare!!! the system will collapse!

  • legalize marijuana so no one will give a fuck about the war or politics, so these rich bastards can't keep making millions off of us

  • tm your just a stupid druggy with obama goggles

  • Considering the amount of debt that the nation is in, these "wasteful" things don't even begin to scratch the surface.

  • I can't believe he can actually get away with saying that.

    HE opposes wasteful spending?

Did we all just forget about the WAR?

  • These two wars are not a waste of money! It is amazing how quickly people have forgotten 9-11. If we did not go to war we were in grave danger of being attacked again.

  • it's amazing how you believe in a president who has forged a letter to eventually start a war. It was on CNN and you believe in a president like that. It's amazing that you could even talk. Because from my perspective I see one big lie, and a president that's a fraud. And millions on of Americans that are believing the same fraud that made America kinde poor at the moment

  • LMAO who doesn't want to stop wasteful spending!? XD

  • It isn't a "Bridge to Nowhere."

McCain knowns the island contains Ketchikan's airport, which is now served by a ferry. In the last 12 months, 425,548 passengers took the ferry serving that airport. In that period, the airport served 219,433 passengers. Figures are for May 2007 through April 2008. There are only two cities in McCain's Arizona with an airport that busy.

Today, a candidate who lies about a bridge. Tomorrow, a president who would lie about weapons of mass destruction.

  • More government deficit spending of our grandchildren's money for wars on foreign soil? Now THAT'S outrageous!

  • 233 million, 3 million, psshaw! I've seen better money-wasting in MUNICIPAL governments, people; these low dollar-levels are not acceptable.

    $2.5 billion a day in Iraq,- now THERE'S a respectable money-wasting venture.

  • Yeah he'll stop wasteful spending... domestically at least. Why build things and create jobs here in America when we're already doing all that over in Iraq? That's where some of the best American jobs are today. Our bridges and levees and schools and police can wait. Oh, and screw science and art. DNA of bears -- phooey!

  • A bridge to NOWHERE? But there would have to be some place on the other side, right? Or does it lead to some sort of perfect vacuum where all matter ceases to exist? Who'd want to built a bridge to a place like that?!

Oh, right! DEMOCRATS! Unlike Clinton, McCain doesn't hate the material universe, so he'd never be in the pocket of Big Nihilism.

    -Tabris

  • John McCain is no Ronald Reagan. He is more Bill Clinton and is for obama. God help us all

  • Wastefull government spending? But you want to stay in Iraq

  • Is that really wasteful?

  • Yes, of course it is. Especially considering that the American government didn't and still doesn't have the money for it and is paying for it through deficit spending.

  • yea just put the war on Iraq on the credit card...ha ha Republicans can't do math

  • Old fart.

  • 3 million to study Bear DNA might be a useful scientific project. That's probably funding through the NSF. NSF grants are hard to come by, so whatever researcher is doing this work must be good at their job and will be highly likely to produce signficant results.

  • fuck mccain. he is an old fart.

  • god you republicans will keep throwing that fucking barack "hussein" obama back at us as much as you can won't you? honestly you feel that if you throw it at us enough you will yield results similar to the swiftboat campaign. besides, who the fuck cares if his middle name is hussein: does it really matter? is he going to go off pulling terrorist stunts across the nation? not to mention saddam hussein had nothing to do with 9/11 in the first place...

  • Hurrah for neo conservatives!!! can i get a hi five?

  • Yeah, its outrageous because all this money comes from the pockets of ordinary folks, who foot the bill for all this. Maybe Clinton and Obama can help these people by cutting funding for this, and thus lowering the tax vurden.

The goal of taxes is to pay for essentials that can not be done privately, or shouldnt be, not to fund any project you wish to desire. It should stuick to infastructure, health, education, pensions, government employees, and the military.

  • john is awesome!

  • what's 'outrageous' about this?

  • It says outrageous in the video near the beginning.

  • Yeah we'll save money on the woodstock museum but continue pouring trillions into Iraq?

Come on, McCain..this is straight CRAP

  • EXACTLY!

what's a couple million mean when trillions will be spent in iraq?

what the fuck does mccain think he's going to accomplish with that?

ANTI McCain, '08 - Vote Democrat

  • Freedom Isn't Free. DnMZen

  • yeah but what are exactly doing in iraq? pushing them into a type of government they don't want? our government isn't necessarily the best government for every situation, and personally, i don't want thousands of innocent iraqi citizens killed for us trying to clean up the mess we made.

  • how about: $498 billion, iraq war

  • er, make that $3 trillion. Read Joseph Stiglitz 'The Three Trillion Dollar War'.

  • People need to realize it is a Neo-conservative ploy to characterize Democrats as "Tax and Spend" Liberals, yet people never hear the term "spend and debt" Conservative...? Wonder why? Because the media is not Liberal and left leaning; Conservatives say this to devalue the messages they don't support and create a false bias amongst the American people

  • FUCK YOU J MCAINE

  • notice all wasteful spending he talks about is spending made here in the united states.someone employed in the US would recieve that tax money...but billions over seas not wasteful.sure people are starving in africa but thier are homelss veterans here.children that need help here.everyone please stop supporting help for everyone except yourself.its your tax dollars demand they be spent on you"whoever you choose" make sure your not forgotten.american isn't rich and free..we are in debt and need

  • Funny how McCain points out just a small few of the wasteful programs, but if I ma not mistaken hasnt Mr.McCain been in DC and congress for many a moons now, which makes him part of the problem. He acts like these are new stories that he will fix for ya right away, but why has he not pursued them over the last 20 yrs he has been sittin on his fat ass watching the fleecing, cuz he is part of it. What a two faced liar.

  • the bridge was stupid, but they should have funded the bear research thing

  • Actually, I researched the bridge thing and it is not a wasteful expense. There is a little island south of the bulk of Alaska that has practically nobody living their; however, most of the freight that comes to Alaska comes to a small airport at this island, where it then has to be put on cargo ships to be transported to the mainland. If the bridge was built, then it would have increased transportation time/efficiency and reduced energy usage. Never heard about the "bear project" specifics.

  • I Haven't heard full disclosure of the bear dna project, But as a conservation minded sportsman i think it would warrent a little research

  • never heard that about the bridge, just thought it was for the 14 people on the island

  • hillarys running mate will be osama i bet.

  • They forgot this one:

    $439 Billion in military spending.

    RETARDED

  • yeah!!!!!!!!!

  • True but there were several democrats giving the president a lot of shit about Sadam having the knowledge and want too bring terror on the world he was a Tyrant as his sons! Al Gore's words Fact!

  • If you want a man without a brain...

    VOTE McCain!

If you want a man who let's hard-core criminals free...

    VOTE HUCKABEE!

If you want a man who's not likely to win at all...

    VOTE PAUL!

If you want a man who can fix this country...

    VOTE ROMNEY!

  • you mean if you want Bush vote Romney.

  • No, If I wanted to vote for BUSH I would have voted McCAIN! (The guy practically has his lips glued to his butt!)

Sadly, I either have to vote for McCain, waste a third party vote, or vote in either a psychotic women or a guy who claims to respect America and then disrespects our flag and pledge (a.k.a. - TERRORIST!). The political groundhog has seen the terrible shadow over America's future, whichh means there's at least 4 more years of bad national policy!

  • Obama didn't disrespect the pledge, learn your facts. They were playing the national anthem, not saying the pledge, and you don't put your hand over your heart for that, the other people on the stage are idiots who don't know proper custom, you can't get mad at him for being the only one who knew what he was doing.

    Ron Paul 2008!

  • lol Ron Paul quit a long time ago. Drop it you stupid RINO/liberal.

  • Romney's OUT SON

  • McCain Romney is out at this moment, He did endorse McCain. It might be a great ticket to see the 2 team up! Its sad that Americans blame the entire Republican Party for all Bush. Its not easy to be the Pres. Not to mention at his time in office the worst terrorist Attack on our soil to our homeland. Obama wins I will be 1st in line for gas masks and chemical suits for my family and loved ones!

  • Dumb as a box of rocks! What do you think were going to knock down our own buildings ! U unpatriotic Fuck you should be taken outside and shot!

  • Alqueda is prying for Obama! However he puts a good show on. Now McCain he is a very proud American w the leadership skills Bush lacked. its not a preference at this point republican democratic. McCain is the proper prospect at this point resume and history and knowledge. Since he is aging too he has a focus to save S.S system. we don't Kiss it goodbye in 2041. Obama lacks foreign policy exp. So being a rep I can say I'd feel safe raising my son here w McCain

  • McCain = short-fused fool

  • First of all, on experience, Abraham Lincoln was the least experienced American president when he assumed office. He worked out rather well, I'd say. Secondly, we aren't going to win this war by dropping bombs, but by winning over the hearts and minds of our neighbors abroad, not by unilaterally engaging other countries without popular support even domestically. Former Republican leaders like Reagan and Nixon at least had that much sense. Bush and McCain? Hardly.

  • Evidently you do not know much about the Iraq War Surge Strategy of 2007. McCain had been pushing the idea of the surge for years and in 2007 Bush finally saw the light. The surge's whole idea was to win over the hearts and minds of the citizens of the troubled regions of Iraq. AND THE SURGE SUCCEEDED! If you don't believe me look it up!

  • yes it succeeded American soldiers die on daily basis, but yeah it's kinda normal now so you don't see it in the news

  • The facts are:

McCain never specifically went after the "bridge to nowhere," and he was absent for key votes on its funding.

McCain never proposed cutting the bear study and voted for the final bill containing it.

McCain wasn't present for the most important votes on the Woodstock museum, including one on an amendment he co-sponsored to kill the earmark and divert some of the funds.

    kenny

  • John Mccane spent 6 years in a Vietnamese prison camp, and when having the opportunity to be released, he immediately refused, in order to stay with his men. He sacrificed so much for this country.

He's got my vote, and he should have yours.

  • This country sacrificed so many for a worthless war and now another. This government's imperialist agenda undermines the sacrifices vets have made.

  • The facts are:
