in england you don't have to worship in the church of england. there are many different churches, presbyterian, calvinism etc. i know we don't have a great record on our treatment of catholicism but we have moved on from that. other than that, Glenn Beck makes very good points. saying that I envy your faith america and your religious freedom. one nation under god. tremendous values on which to build a country, but the UK or england is not an anti-catholic backwater anymore.
Romney can bridge the gap between nations and in politics
Rmoney speaks fluent French, being there on a religious deferment during the Vietnam draft
Romney's dad was the first Mexican-American (born Chihuahua Mexico polygamous community) to run for President of the United States (1968, look it up, undisputed)
Finally, Mitt Rmoney can bridge politics.. He ran to the left of Ted Kennedy in MA and now he is Mr. Conservative
Flexibility is the hallmark of a man BORN to lead. His cash helps too
it's hard to accept that Glen Beck is religious. a religious person does not choose his religion, he only keeps it or abandons it. and glen beck sounds like a person who has abandoned his religion a long time ago. glen beck is just an atheist businessman. if the money is good, they would do/say anything, anything....
Romney is more of a moderate conservative than most other Republican candidates. He's also genuine and tries to do what he thinks is best. Even if others disagree. Romney 2012.
You can't BELIEVE the turn around in his life once he joined the Church of Jesus Christ. Love him, hate him, or anywhere in between, he has certainly been blessed for his faith.
well said Glenn. I've always respected what this guy has to say. he's never afraid to tell like it is even talking about his own flaws and not conceited or arrogant about his abilities unlike some egotistical sexist men who shall not remain nameless, Rush Limbaugh and Randy Savage.
Anyone who would vote for, or against, any qualified presidential candidate simply because of their religion is not only a bigot, but also Un-American...and a "pinhead".
@Democrats4MittRomney I feel Ron Paul would be a much better president than Mitt Romney. He is the only candidate with a sensible foriegn policy, he is the only candidate serious about cutting our spending and is the only candidate that wants to fundamentally solve the problems that caused our economic ressesion. Plus, he has more integrity than any other candidate. Plus, he does not recieve any money from coorporations or wall street bankers. Good looks does not mean a good president.
@Democrats4MittRomney I'm voting for Mitt Romney--hands down. However, your 'unamerican' comment doesn't make musch sense. Our founding fathers and your paper money says 'In God we trust.' Not every one believes in God. And I can assure you orthodoxed Mormons do not subscribe to the same God as 'Christians.' So who are the Americans? I really mean no offense, just food for thought.
@URABombShell it is unAmerican and against what is stated in the U.S. Constitution to base one's vote or choice in whomever may be the POTUS upon whatever they may choose to believe or not believe in regarding a particular faith. Actually, I am quite familiar with the teachings of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Governor Romney's faith and I can assure you they are a very Christian faith. So, the Americans are the ones who follow the U.S. Constitution and do not discriminate.
@PrinceMio49 agreed voting for the other candidates is an open pass for Obama to win re-election which was also why he just made his very cocky statement that he has got another five years to go. This even after publicly stating that this would be a one-term proposition if he did not turn things around. Even the Democrats are opening encouraging other Dems to vote for Santorum in the open caucuses and primaries because they know it will only help Obama if he wins. America needs Mitt!
