yeah, pete is the founder, heres the story... of the whole thing..... Pete and Joe wanted to start a band that sounded like their influenced bands like green day and such... and then Joe heard Patrick talking about some band (i 4got) and then Joe talked to him to be in pete and joe's band, so Patrick started out as their drummer, then when Andy came, patrick suddenly figured out he cud sing, then andy took the drums, THEN FALL OUT BOY WAS BORN!!!

No. He doesn't write all the lyrics. He writes a good amount of them, personaly, I think Patrick writes just as good as Pete not that Pete writes bad lyrics, but look at 'Sugar We're Goin' Down' all writen by Patrick Stump.

Except for a few of the songs on Take This To Your Grave - one those, Patrick still writes the music, but sometimes Patrick would write half the lyrics and Pete the other half, or Patrick would write all the other lyrics. By the time From Under the Cork Tree came out, though, Pete was writing all the lyrics and Patrick all the music.
