  • revenge is sweet

  • so lucky it didn't drop it's tail

  • you reject

  • woahwoahwoahwoah there big boy. those are some huge crickets for those guys.

  • it was aiming for the cricket then the other one got mad

  • im surprised the tail didnt break off

  • Pwned! xO

  • Fail.

  • oh shit lmao thats not good lmao

  • jesus guys, the gecko was going for the cricket if you watch closely

  • sick bastard.

  • omg y tha fuck would u let ur geckos fight

  • wow someone did not read the discription.. geesh read before comenting, plus its not a fight geckos alot of times nip off their tank mates tails cause they confuse it for food (wat happened here is the same thing) it is also stated in the description.... geez

  • well was it not done on purpose for the gecko to do that they filmed it for a reason they knew shit happens

  • the guy wanted to show how they eat the one with not tail just got to excited and bit the others tail by accident since it missed the cricket, yes stuff like this happens and as he said thats not their home and i think he also says thats wat happens wen housed together and he only did this to show feeding not like a big deal, it wasnt even a hard bite or else the tail would have fallen off

  • Yea, mine will fight over superworms also.....they go crazy when u put insects in their cages......

  • stupid to feed them both at the same time..... punk

  • actually not stupid?

  • omg what the hell i dont know much about crested geckosbut i know leopard geckos lose there tails and i he the ones tail is gone really your an idiot!!!

  • why dident you seperate them that could hert them you are the biggest idot I know

  • Why is is that I always see tailless cresties? Do they fall off really easy?

  • yah

  • no they just dont grow them back thats all, most geckos will drop there tail if to scared or startled

  • Cresties do not regrow their tails like many other geckos do. Often their tail doesn't even need to be pulled on to make them drop, stress can do it too or it can happen for no particular reason.

  • cresties dont regrow their tails????

but the one at the pet store i live near by lost its tail and i can see that it is growing back! even the workers told me it lost its tail...im confused! :/

  • Nope. There is a little nub left of it though, maybe you are mistaking that little nub for it regrowing?

  • hmmmm or maybe it just didnt lose its tail, because it is pretty long......

    thanks for the fact though!

because im gonna get that exact crestie!

    :333

and im still doing as much research as i can!

i still need: substrate, and heat/lighting....... any tips? im SOOOOO DESPERATE FOR THAT CUTE LITTLE THING!

  • Congrats!

You may not even need heat/lighting if your house is 70-80 degrees.

I highly recommend feeding Crested Gecko Diet instead of fruits and crickets, it's much easier.

Good luck, you won't be able to stop at one ;-)

  • oh thanks sooo much for the information!

i was actually already going to feed it CGD

because i knew it was easier!

i really love that crestie! and thanks for the complement!

by the way, do you have any idea what i should use for the substrate? ( flooring of cage)

  • If your gecko is a female I suggest putting her on paper towel or newspaper because she may lay infertile eggs and you will want to put a lay box in there with her. If you use loose substrate then she will bury the infertile eggs in there and you won't ever find them. If its a male you can keep him on Eco Earth, papertowels, newspaper, woodchips (I use Jungle Earth), pretty much whatever. I suggest plain paper towels though, its cheap and easy.

  • oh ok, well the one im gettings a boy!

anything but sand right? even if its full grown? this ones full size/grown whatever lol....about the tail, it didnt lose it i was just thinking wrong lol so, forget the part where the workers told me it lost it, because i walked in the pet store and its tail was nice and long!

  • Lol, it doesn't surprise me. A lot of pet store workers don't seem to have a clue about what they are saying >.> But yea, pretty much anything but sand is fine. Let me know what you choose, and enjoy your crestie =)

  • ok ill tell you what substrate i get and then you can tell me if its a good choice! i hope Eco earth is good...

anyways, once again thanks for the information! and im sooooo happy about the light cuz i asked my mom if it was 80 degrees in the house and she said yes!!! WOOOOO i hope it stays that way! lol

  • GO GECKOS!!!!!!!! @nd not crickets

  • now i know to feed them in sperate containers when im getting one. thanks alot.

  • feel bad for the left one w/ no tail. he was trying to steal the other ones tail because he's insecure

  • lol

  • I WOULD TO! SAD!

  • this sometimes hapens to my leopard geckos too but i immediatly stop them before any serious damage occurs.

  • FROG BUTT

  • You should of stopped them!

  • lol how

  • can crested geckos regrow there tail because i heard they can't

  • No, Geckos cannot grow their tail back.

  • Crested Geckos anyway.

  • That's why one gecko lost its tail!

  • i can see how that happened the crested gecko on the left pounced at a cricket but the cricket moved and the crestie bit the others tail thinking it was a cricket

  • gangsta gangsta gangsta!

  • Cresties are so cool. We have one and he's adorable.

  • lol its like "if i cant have a tail you cant either bitch!" and he attacks.

  • @dudethatisawesome1 stop talking ugly monkey its a prot of nather lol lol lol lol lol lol lol lol lol lol lol

  • evil twat

  • the one looks like a frog

  • wounder why he doesnt have a day lol mines perfect just eats w/e it wants not a certain time or anything just his food is in his home

  • Just an updatefor everyone. both of these geckos are now healthy breeding adults. Also please read the video description to the right before leaving pointless comments.

  • bite the other geckos tail..

  • well we can see why he doesnt have a tail

  • ur a bad owner watd u do to makes its tail fall off? b.c they dont grow back

  • they drop their tails when they are afraid, the dont have to be touched either. and it doesnt hurt them

  • fucken asshole bitch shit head dont let them fight even if they do it in the wild its like having a cock fight

  • well crested geckos in the wild tails normally fall off anyway, and its pretty common for geckos to bite each others tails by accident.

  • CANIBAL!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Im going to write my response in big letters for all the retards who have trouble reading the other comments. IT WAS AN ACCIDENT!!! JUST LIKE WHEN YOU TRIPPED THE OTHER DAY AND HIT THAT ONE GUY IN THE FACE. IM SURE HE DIDNT LIKE IT BUT IT WAS AN ACCIDENT, RIGHT? GET THE FUCK OVER IT. THE GECKO IS FINE. BIG DEAL. SHIT LIKE THAT HAPPENS IN THE WILD ALL THE TIME. GET OVER IT YOU LITTLE HIPPIE ACTIVIST PUSSIES!!!!

  • i din't trip the other day nor did i hit anyone

  • i was just making a point

  • lol

  • in the wild it has been known for cested gecko males to fight over food and thay dont fight like that thay bite each others eyes and it was an acciadent nd i agree with you but i would feed them seprate though to stop basicly this form happening

  • now we know how the other one lost its tail...

  • Yup!

  • @Numbuh214 Exactly what I was thinking. He knows this can happen when multiples are fed in a small tank and does it anyway.

  • i don't care if you've had one your entire life you should know better than that! or have been getting them away from each other instead of VIDEO TAPING THEM! Gosh! and btw if or crestie is eating baby food right now and your trying to get it to eat "CGD" ween it off of the BF less and less BF more and more "CGD"

  • FEED SEPERATELY

  • WOW, thats all that i can say, you should learn how to take care and feed you geckos.

  • THAT WAS REALLY MEAN!!! but im sorry to say this but it was kinda funny

  • poor living conditions one didnt have a tail

  • thats the feeding container. Your either retarded or dont own reptiles. When you see an empty container with crickets in it and a gecko, it means its a feeding box. Just like snakes. If you see a snake in a cardboard box with a mouse, its a feeding container. Gosh! people are really stupid!

  • how do i start feeding the "crested gecko diet" cgd to my new baby caladonian crested gecko?

  • poop on you

  • You guys are dumb its a feeding container, its an accident he didnt make it bite the other one. God man!

  • dick!

  • i really advise you to take these inocent little geckos to a WAAAAAAAAAAAYYYY better home u are really a dumb ASS

  • There's nothing cool about that video. Why would you put them both in the same enclosure to feed? It's pretty obvious why one of them doesn't have a tail. If you're not responsible enough to take care of them properly, you shouldn't have them in the first place.

  • i just got a baby crested gecko and he is so awesome

  • they r in a good home if they eat on sand when they r young they can eat it and die from it, since young geckos r more careless about eating

  • these cresties are still young so the risk of impaction is grate so like most crestie keeps he is using a kritter can for feeding his sub adults... so know what your talking about be for you say some thing

  • why are they in a continer with paper towels honestly get an enviroment before you but the reptile...

  • why hasnt one of the geckos got a tail

  • u need to get those geckos a better home.

  • That IS why the one doing the biting has no tail you dumb ass!! And what are you doing with 2 in such a small habitat, AND on SAND!!!?!?!? PLEASE give these to someone that has a brain and can care for these little guys.

  • uhh....there not on sand

  • I love crested geckos and accidents do happen! I found this very amusing! =D

    Amused Gecko is Amused

  • ya give ure geckos to som1 else

  • They obviously kiss and make up afterwords anyways, nob jobs

  • Guys, he made a dumb mistake, the point of the video is he realized what he did was dumb and he's posting it to show WHY you shouldn't feed them together. Hopefully this will prevent others from making the same mistake.

  • i love how you just sat and watched insted of doing something, thats why the other one dosnt have a tail, fuck by now they both dont have tails

  • hes just jealous he doesnt have a tail

  • I don't thinkhe knew that was going to happen...and yet I can't help giggling...

  • lmao i no im fucking pissing myself with laughter i dunno if it should be this funny but it is lol

  • even if you are trying to show people issues with feeding together its still bad doing it when you know whats gonna happen, your an idiot, feed them separately

  • Separate them wile giving them food, damnit! :/

  • Is that how the other one lost his tail?

  • lmao how did he make em fight you fools there just dum like that

  • lol that was classic

  • lol :D

  • You're stupid!!!! Separatly!!

  • no fucking wonder the tails come off of 1 if u make em fight an shit

  • Yeah, im surprised the tail didnt drop eaither.

  • I did not intentionally have gecko one bite the tail of gecko two. I put them in this smaller cage onceto tape them eating. I shared the vidoe so that other would be aware of some of the issues (ie this) when feeding crickets when multiple geckos are housed together.

  • my ass

  • Everyones so willing to assume this was done for entertainment, even though its obvious that it was a mistake. He didn't use gecko mind control to get it to bite at the moment he was filming them. It was a random occurence. Also, feeding them together was an honest mistake any owner could make early on. So grow up morons/self righteous and judgemental gecko keepers.

  • If its the same person as I think it is. Jurrassic is a pretty damned knowledgable herp keeper. It was an accident get over it!

Perhaps people shouldn't film people driving cars in case theres an accident - lord knows that doesn't stop people.

    GT OVER IT!!

  • Wow...i'm very suprised that it didn't drop the tail

  • thats well cruel get a job ya freak

  • feed them seperatley, or in a bigger enclosure....

  • *mampf*
