@leoisforevercool basically it´s a "free" counterspell, with the drawback being 1 life and a blue card to exile from your hand. The amazing thing is that you can do it while you´re tapped out, so your opponent will never know if you´ve got it or if you don´t. it´s also great with brainstorm, that lets you find it or a card to exile for paying the cost. It´s also played with standstill, allowing you to do the same. All in all, it´s insane... and you can even pay 3UU if it comes to that.

Now I'm sort of a collector since I STILL have no one to play with and don't want to turn to the online version of the game, I was just confused a bit that's all, but thanks! The addiction is nice and deep in my brain, and somewhere Richard Garfield has a separate wallet just for the money I've spent on MTG cards. ;P

It's hard enough to find a playset. What you're doing isn't even that clever. You should invest in different cards that will increase over time. Your pile of FoW's is nothing compared to the number of Force of Wills out there. Maybe you've accomplished increasing the value by $0,10. That's about it.
Buy BB power, Antiquities, AN, Beta and Legends Staples. Duals, popular foils. I recommend you to trade for them!

Agree 100% with Zeroshift. There are tons of people out there fucking players by artificially inflating prices. And these are the same people who bitch and moan every time the Reserved List gets reconsidered, because they don't want Wizards to "hurt the value of their investment." Wizards should fuck them and reprint tons of every Reserved card.
Sean isn't claiming that legacy is cheaper. He is claiming that it is a better investment. Spending money on cards in standard is risky b/c they depreciate so rapidly when they rotate out of type. Also, you have to keep up with the rotation in standard whereas a legacy deck will remain relevant for years.
And I hope they throw out the Reserved List and reprint FoW, if only so you can see your precious collection lose some of its value. If you want a playset and 1 near mint for your collection; fine. But each of those playsets you have beyond that is one player who might not get in to legacy because of high prices. You are a detriment to the game.
