Interestingly this story line is almost a inspiration to the Cena and Orton story of today (shit as it is, let me explain)
In between Survivor Series 1998 to the night after St Valentines Day Massacre The Rock and Mankind had 7 championship matches with fairly consistent title changes. Yes even though there were title shots for Triple H and X Pac (2 each if i remember) and one for Austin it was like these two had a feud that just kept going, a bit like the lame antics of Cena and Orton
@NickAW1 Your right but one difference is how they arrived at each match, Rock vs Mankind had matches because of inventive storylines to get there. Cena and Orton just exchanged the titles each month with Rematch clauses put into every contract so that's how they wrestled for the title for 5 months straight and like you said the Cena vs Orton rivalry was shit
@TheWill1225 Exactly. I loved the Rock-Mankind fued. To me it was well done and Rock did enough interacting with Austin in the meantine to set up that fued as well. Plus this was fued where Rock slowly started getting positive crowd reactions that eventually would turn him into the huge face he'd become.
I remember watching this when it aired. Ahh, the memories. :)

@NickAW1 How about Rock/HHH in 2000? They were at odds on television for about 8 months solid and were a part of 5 PPV main events with each other.
