I don't believe in God at all, but I wouldn't be averse to worshiping Jaymi Bandtock (if he is really the soloist of the first version? I think I found that version somewhere stating Oliver Putland as the soloist.) That boy has a heart-wrenching voice (and I do mean that in a good way).
A magnificent display of incredible talent. Too bad that these children are being indoctrinated into a lie - that the entire universe is ruled by a "god" or ....ghost. So sad that their unbelievable talents weren't channeled into a reality based support system. Not that fairy tales aren't fun but.... We could certainly use some TRUTH in this world right now. Isn't it a sort of child abuse to teach children that "gods" are....REAL?
@t4705mb6 o ya? wat do u believe we were made by to cells colliding in space? if so then how can we (bags of chemicals) create such magnificent art, of all kinds, or this computer for example
@chywawii64 I feel that's all the more wondrous without religion, and the verse I disagree with most strongly is, "The stars, the sea, they would have no mystery / Without you, we wouldn't have a reason to be" - in my opinion religion takes away the mystery, and there's plenty of reason inherent in life itself. As for the argument from beauty, see Richard Dawkins' YouTube video about that if you want. But does it really matter? We all like the music, let's just feel connected because of that.
@chywawii64 How? I said magnificant art and this computer etc. is more wondrous without religion, and I disagree with a religious verse in the lyrics... and I even mentioned Richard Dawkins! Anyway to be clear: I'm not Christian.
The song may have been around for centuries, but the orchestrator Prizeman is a true genius. He really knows how to turn music into something that will be loved all over the world.
Much better if you could post some sort of lyrics..... thank you

I agree with you. So Prizeman has been the director of Libera since it has been first established.
