  • Love your videos, but how do you film it when youre walking up to the rabbit?

  • @coastercrazydannii Thanks, i have my camcorder mounted to the top of my scope.

  • hate to see the myxi making a comeback ....its ruined lots of ground for me recently........would love to meet the bastard that made it!

  • @sherbert500 Yeah i think he could stand a good dose of it too. Its one think to shoot an animal clean but to see it suffer like that for days isn't nice.

  • another good vid as always, i live in cornwall and were getting more and more mypoxsis rabbits shot. Not nice to see some of them

  • @TheCountryladd No its not, i always hate to see rabbits with Maxy on my shoot.

  • @HuntersVermin Thought it was pronounced mixy not maxy, thats what I call it anyway and everyone I've talked to calls it mixy.

  • @W00LFY100 Different people call it different things but it still isn't nice to see a rabbit with it.

  • @HuntersVermin Yeah, isn't nice, best thing to do is put them down quickly and not let them linger and die a painful death. Not sure about eating them though, whenever I shoot a mixy I leave it in a hedge for the fox. tbh I wouldn't even feed them to my dog, dont want to chance it.

  • How many fps does your Theoben have? Because I might be getting a airgun. The Gamo Whisper with 1200 fps.

  • @ThatOleDogOfMine It has about 832fps with .22cal 21grain pellets.

  • @jessemarcharris, I'm from the u.s. The rabbits get pretty big here, and I like the distance you can get from it.

  • @Molecule125 Thank you.

  • Is a .177 cal 1600 fps enough

  • @Molecule125 Blimey! A rifle like that would best suited for hunting rabbits who unlucky enough to be standing in a queue...You would pierce a hole straight through 3 or 4 of them!

  • @Molecule125 More than enough

  • what do you use to mount your camera

  • @VerminControl27 Sometimes i use a small tripod but most of the time i use a home made mount on my scope.

  • alright grate videos when will you be doing your next rabbit hunt?

how do you mount your camera?

  • @VerminControl27 I probably wont be doing another rabbit vid till latter on in the spring.

  • do you stalk to your point put your camera down then walk back and then do it again on record? how the hell does your camera end up where your going haha

  • @Ashy420x Its all a matter of timeing.

  • as allways another great vid! do you ever go out lamping on a night? if you do u should make a vid on lamping! atb chez1

  • @mrchezb88 Thank you, i have done a bit of lamping but my camcorder is useless at night with the lamp so i have no footage.

  • Quality!

  • @Tristy1987 Thanks.

  • why dont you ever try hunting squirrel its fun to do but any way your good to watch

  • @TheSleighbo I would love to but there just isn't that many squirrels where i shoot.

  • what kind of air gun do u use

  • @josephsgamertag Its a .22cal 30ft/lb Theoben MFR pcp powered air rifle.

  • @HuntersVermin do u need a lince for that gun and how much is it

  • @MrPs3hunter Yes you need a licence for any air rifle in Northern Ireland, and any air rifle over 12ft/lb of energy in the UK. A 30ft/lb MFR is about £900 from Theoben Ltd.

  • 1 Dislike by Survived Rabbit. Lol..!

  • you sir, are a joy to watch :-)

  • @pauleybezzer999 Thank you.

  • instead of getting over it they may just make easy targets for the other predetors

  • @rjreid1958 Yes if i am finding it easier to stalk up on them a fox would have no problem.

  • I love all your vid, keep them coming.

  • @zsedcz Thank you.

  • Is it wise for one to eat the rabbits with the disease mentioned?.. Or do they become cat food?..

  • @watcherman65 I wouldn't eat them even though they say that people can't catch Myxomatosis so i feed them to my cats.

  • I love your videos man, keep em up. subscribed*

  • @TexasDistortion Thank you.

  • Is it still legal to shoot foxes in the UK, without using the cruel, origional method with hounds, just a gun?

  • you could be right coz i always shoot from my car and i`ve never found any road kill and never seen any foxes on sight speak soon baz.

  • I like your videos!

I wish to have same chance with rabbits around me.

No rabbits here - seems people hunt them all :-)

    Upload more.

  • yes near me is an industrial estate that is really overrun with rabbits but on the surrounding farmland they are very scarce it must be some sort of race memory that makes them stay on the land where their ancestors lived even when it`s incredibly busy 24/7speak soon baz

  • @bushcraftybaz Its maybe the fact that with the place being so busy and plenty of fences to hide behind that there are fewer foxes and other predators to worry about on the estate.

  • nice video mate cannot wat to see your next one

  • @delharrier Thank you.

  • to bad for the wind in the video but other then that another good video! looking forward to your next one!

  • @GWHcraig1088 Yeah you never notice wind noise till ya get home and play it back but glad you liked it any way.

  • Loved the Video... ..Make more please.. ..And.. I'm looking for info on the gun..

  • @watcherman65 Glad you liked the vid. The air rifle is a .22cal 30ft/lb Theoben MFR with a 4-16x44 meopta scope and Bisley magnum pellets.

  • great vids! its 10 55 pm and have just finished hackin up my wellies to make those pellet holders and am off to the garden center to get my shootin sticks in the morning. Do you have any rattin tips or could u make a vid. cheers pal keep up the good work

  • @lycralicker I'd like to do a ratting vid if i could find a good number of rats to shoot plus my camer is next to useless in the dark with a lamp.

  • @HuntersVermin try asking at a local fisherie, they're normally crawlin with em! they feed off all the pellets and bait dropped on the bank by the fishermen.

  • @lycralicker Good idea thanks.

  • hi m8y,.. when are you doing some more magpie shooting, i enjoy them :-)

  • @derekfaz2010 I will hopefully get back to shooting some magpies soon.

  • Hi I was wondering if you could tell me whether the crosman phantom 1000x with 4 x 32 centerpoint scope is a decent starting springn, break barrel rifle for hunting ?

  • @MIGHTYKIE I have never fired one but at 1000fps it should be powerfull enough for pest control and any gun thats comes with a scope and all fitted into the price should make a good starter gun.

  • i do the same, i stop at some apple trees, me and the dog loves them. :-)

  • thanks for reply i wondered if it was because the digging in sandy soil was easier so perhaps theirs an advantage in being smaller someone will have an idea that`s the wonder of the net it scratches every itch speak soon baz.

  • @bushcraftybaz It is a wonder as i have farms i shoot on that look as if they are perfect for rabbits but there are none and others that are near over run with them for some reason.

  • Nice vid again pal.just got my own mkII 30ft rapid 7.wow how good are these guns.all the best

  • @MrDiablo1968 Glad you liked it and good luck with your new gun.

  • @heavymetal217 Thank you.

  • Another quality vid HV, keep up the good work mate!

  • @bobby2tokes Thank you.

  • Ballymena Hey!

  • @bluenapalm123 That Fairhill shopping centre add has a lot to answer for.

  • @HuntersVermin Haha, brilliant. I was going through alot of your videos, something about them was quite easy to watch. Im obviously assuming at this point that your hired by farmers for culling?

Ive moved to London, and I miss our green fields.

    Cheers for posting.

  • @HuntersVermin dude you are my inspiration for small game hunting except at the moment i dont have an air rifle but will be getting one soon.

  • @ArizonaRabbitHunter Thanks glad you liked my vids and hope you get an air rifle soon.

  • Pena que aqui no Brasil seja tão atrasado e não deixem cacar aves e animais, sorte de vcs...

  • Hope to see more video, I don't get to go out much, so these video are it for me.

  • @oakland002 Glad you liked the vid.

  • It''s always a pleasure to see your videos, I agree with joolz8080, he put it nicely, "Something strangely addictive" boy I love the way he put that. Take care, seems like the cold weather is right around the corner.

  • @leftymadrid Thank you and yeah it won't be long till the frost is here again.

  • Your a good lad, I know these videos arent for everyone but yours are the most 'sensitive' there are on youtube. Sadly for our sport there are a few numpties about who stick videos of them blatting the shite out of anything that moves. Keep up the good work, particularly enjoyed the cooking sequence. All the best.

  • @M33ky Thank you very much i do try and keep my shooting and my videos so that anyone can watch them. Glad you liked them.

  • Something strangely addictive about watching these. Good job on these vids and nice responsible shooting.

  • @joolz8080 Thank you.

  • and i have a question too.where exactly do you life and is it your own ground you are hunting on?please read and answer...

  • @steffdemoff I live in Northern Ireland and i shoot on ground that i have ether been given permission or been asked to shoot vermin on.

  • as long as you keep it up making thins awsome vids as long will i download and collect every one and give you a thumps up...greetings from holland

  • @steffdemoff Thank you, glad you liked them.

  • Hi I think your video's are very good, I used to hunt with air rifles when I was younger and decided to take it up again. A friend let me borrow his Air Arms s400. I really want to hunt with a spring air rifle as that's what I always used. I was wondering if you could recommend a suitable modern spring powered break barrel. cost is not an issue but it would have to be 12 ft lbs as I don't have FAC. I live inthe UK. Keep up the videos you've inspired me back into airguns.

  • @501footman Well there is the likes of the HW97k , HW80 or HW95k as i have always been a Weihrauch fan myself but have a look at the Airarms TX200 mk3 and the PRO Spot both very good spring rifles as well.

  • @HuntersVermin Thank you for that, the hw95 and hw80 are both on my short list I hada look at thePro Sport and it was beautiful exept for one thing, cosmetic I know but why did they not blue the underlever. For such a fabulous rifle, it really cheapens it, and to be honest put me off the gun.Anyway thanks for the advice, much appreciated.

  • Where I can buy a rifle as yours in mexico? thanks

  • @cazadoresdiurnos Oh that is a good question, i know that there is a TheobenUSA website that might help.

  • Yet another great video. And lovely Irish countryside! Good shootin m8

  • @mattxr2i Thanks glad you liked it.

  • I always enjoy your vids, not sure what was being said at one minute though. LOL

  • @eohinyorks Sorry it must be my Northern Irish accent.

  • thanks again mate cracking footage again

  • @festa8840 Your welcome.

  • Another cracking vid HV. Am i right in thinking i spotted you having a wee dander round the Midland Game Fair the other saturday lol? I wanted to say hello but couldn't get your attention. I give you a couple of squeeks but you didn't look up lol and i didn't want to chase after you like a teenage girl lol. Ahh well, maybe next year i'll get to chat in person to my favorite youtuber :-)

  • @SuperDixxxie Yeah there was a few people who managed to recognized me at the midlands fair, sure if you see me another year just come up and say Hi i'm usually wearing a leather cowboy type hat.

  • Your an amazing hunter! Love the vids keep them up partner

  • @MasterBuckHunter Thank you.

  • Anybody think a daisy powerline 880 can kill a rabbit with a good clean headshot within 25 yards?

  • @MrBbgunman Oh yea..you should have no problem

  • Hi I also hunt but am running out of places that will let me shoot I don’t want to over kill the land that am allowed on so am in need of other land, could you tell me the easiest was to get land owners permission could I just go to farms and ask if they need a had with the vermin or do I stick to the land iv got and leave it a while ?

P.S. Im using a BSA ULTRA Co2 with a silencer and I find this to help with getting second shots of would you consider getting one ?

  • @TWFsmithers

Why on earth have you had a perfectly good hunting pcp like the BSA Ultra converted to Co2 crap gas

  • @Lurcherpup the BSA Ultra us a compresed air gun off the shelf no conversion i ment copressed air not Co2 =)

  • @TWFsmithers Your best bet would be to try and ask around and see if you can get other farmers to let you shoot vermin on their land as you will still be able to get some hunting in without over hunting the ground you already have.

  • Another cracker mate . Really do enjoy your videos.

    Many thanks

    Bazza

  • @frstvan Thank you glad you liked it.

  • Great Video! When do you think you are going to do a crow or magpie hunt?

  • @1996JackDavies I plan to have a go at the crows and magpies soon.

  • Wow mate, you are making really good videos, upload more ASAP!!!!!

  • @Jahazdaabba1 Thanks i'l try.

  • Cracking vid & even better shooting

  • @paulpeters1971 Thank you.

  • great video what sort of camera do you use and how much is it.

  • @vincent54532 Its a JVC 330 with a 30gb hard drive memory that cost £225 but its over two years old now.

  • TOP VIDEO AGAIN WHAT VIDEO MAKER U USING THANKS

  • @belgrave1984 Thanks i am using Power Director 9.

  • hiya mate, another good video very informative as usual, went shooting on the coast of northumberland last week the rabbits seemed a little smaller than the rabbits inland.is their a difference in size?they were`nt all young ones and seemed to be mature one was an old buck with fighting scars but seemed to be smallish compared to the ones near me in lancashire, have you noticed size differences in different areas???speak soon baz

  • @bushcraftybaz I haven't noticed a difference in size in the places i hunt but being so close to the coast a smaller sized bunny maybe suits the conditions better.

  • Great video! Rabbit season just opened up here in Illinois. The only problem is the state areas limit when you can hunt. They let the dear hunters get the majority of the days. Either way I plan to get out in the fields soon!

Again great video keep them coming!!

  • @crazywhitedog78 The deer hunters probably bring in the most money for the state so they get the most days but hopefully you'l get a few bunnys in the bag too.

  • great vid mate enjoy them all thunbs from john

  • @bigjohntightlips Glad you liked it.

  • Great shooting , it's hard to just stand there while the sun is setting fast.

Anyway I love the fact that there is a lot of rabbits over there , but I've notice there is a lot of the disease one lately... It's a shame... Poor thing, maybe you're more like putting them out of their misery .

  • @oakland002 Yeah it is a shame but i do think that some rabbits manage to get over it other wise they would all get wiped out very quickly.

  • another quality vid

  • @thestokie3 Thank you.

  • Thanks for another great vid.

  • @ericthalfbee Your welcome.

  • could be time to invest in night vision or even thermal scopes :P

  • @kevd430 Maybe If i had the money to spend on it.

  • @HuntersVermin suppoes you are right there.

  • Hey, i know that u like to do much rabbit hunt, but i hope u make some magpie and crow shooting videos soon now :P I miss them alot.

    PLEASE :D ;)

  • @xarvex Yes i'l have to get back to some crow and magpie shooting now the colder weather is in.

  • well done great

  • @warrenpwr Thanks.

  • Good morning man i luv your video's

  • @ameer4666 Thank you.

  • The decease is mxyi aka mxyimytoesis, it's a horrendous decease that usually kills off the warren in a manner that's very in humane. My shoot has just had almost all warrens wiped out so any that are left I just hope they make it through the winter so as to keep my shoot going.

Saying that magpies are back so I'm sure I'll be getting some more of them

    Excellent shots vermin pal

  • @m4x1170 Yes its a bad time for the rabbits but a good time to use a dead rabbit as bait for crows and magpies as they are used to seeing and feeding on rabbits that have died with Mxyi.

  • You are so good and peacefull narrator. It's enjoyable to watch your videos 5 stars.

  • @pallopaa666 Thank you very much.

  • Great, keep up the good work!

  • @United89Dan Thanks i;l try.

  • love your vids!!

  • @PaoloRusconi84 Thank you.

  • What scope do you use and what mag do you shoot at ?

  • @TheShooter1954 Its a Meopta 4-16x44 and i shoot it using 6x all the time.

  • You should take up fim making or producing as a living you have a keen eye for making the shots look very professional.

  • @tazlmc Thank you very much.

  • Hi!

What did you do with these sick rabbits?

    Shots was humany,very clear!

    Regards!

  • @krysks04 I usually give them to my cats or use them as bait for crows.

  • gun?

  • @abecslides doesnt anybody read the discription?

  • nope we just wanna see bunnies getting raped.

  • @abecslides you longboard?

  • @flappyjockstrap yup y?

  • @abecslides i knew from your name, i also longboard :) i have a 2011 fullbag elise and a dervish.

  • @flappyjockstrap holy shit i road a 2011 fullbag elise and i thought it felt to sharp. whats you thought about it?

  • @abecslides Its a .22cal 30ft/lb Theoben MFR pcp powered air rifle.

  • Once again great shooting. I've decided to save up for a pcp of my own. Its difficult enough to get close but to add a the sounds of loading and cocking a springer that scares them off most the time. Keep the videos coming.

  • @Robocorps2 Thank you and good luck on getting your pcp.

  • whats the disease with the rabbits?

  • Do you hunt any other game?

  • @pyro4869 Well i do have videos uploaded on wood pigeon, crows and magpies but not really any on game.
