It's a fantastic simulation. A2A have done some brilliant work with this and all their other aircraft. However, I still think the P-47 is an ugly aircraft!! But I like ugly.

brilliant. Everything A2A makes is just oozing quality!. I love the B-17 as its as close to owning a real aircraft I will ever get, what with the awsome hanger system and the fact that you have to take so much care of everything, including checking the oil/oxygen etc.

Cant wait for the P-51 Mustang!! Its gonna be sweet.

Oh yeah, and don't forget that we already have the Wings of Power I version of the P-47D for the loyal FS9 customers. I chose this version because it doesn't really fill up the space on my PC :), although installations are slightly different from other A2A installations due to the appearance of an FSX fix that adds DDS textures and other FSX features that help the aircraft to run well in FSX.

@valkyrie321 I believe they have made an excellent decision for not shoehorning on an FS9 model, particularly because none of the Accu-Sim details are even possible within FS9.

@Juppie902 the trick is all about pan cropping and the text tools, if you are using Sony Vegas.

Hello there. I just got this airplane, but i can't use my rudder pedals and yoke. Have you experienced this before with this airplane? Btw, I use Pro Flight Yoke/Rudder Pedals System.

@familyboy109, is your control lock on? This addon makes no changes to default controls, however this is a control lock in the aircraft.

@valkyrie321 I found out that it was a connection fail with my rudder/yoke to my computer, hehe:P So i just restarted FSX, disconnected/connected rudders and yoke, loaded my save, and then it worked.

@GunZeeLad, the Microsoft Flight Simulator series is regarded as one of the most advanced flight simulators. The addons, such as the A2A P-47 improve that experience. There are many sites you can get advanced addons. You can see some of those addons and their related companies through some of my videos on my profile. If you are looking for a "flight sim", FSX and FS2004 are the way to go.

Perhaps someone here can help me. I have this plane and I love it. But, it begins with the accusim sounds lagging behind, and then fsx freezes. Any info can be provided if necessary.. Tried reinstalling, latest vidcard drivers etc... help :(

Thanks for the advice, I installed latest drivers already. It turned out to be two old .dll files in the sys32 and syswow64 map. Deleted those, problems gone :)

It's the altitude of the angle that is causing it to look that way, which is by design.

Most of the effects are done through Sony Vegas, however not all of them. Some were done with modification to the FS engine, such as the field of depth scenes.

There are plenty of scenes with ground shadows. The problem is the cloud layer, which reduces the sun to object shadow effect.

Yeah I hear ya. I had to do a good 3 pointer for the RealAir spitfire. I did it of course as it is no big deal. If they want it, they get it. But you are very right, just look at any real life footage and you'll see a lot of bouncing/ other funky landings!

I get a lot of my old Elder Scrolls Oblivion fans who are a bit put out by my FS stuff. I don't mind that they watch my newer videos, but I haven't made an Oblivion video in about 3 years and I do not plan on making any more.

I do however find it rather rude that some of my old fans are mad at my new videos. They should be grateful that I made any Oblivion films at all. At any rate, I'm working on a Fallout video for my old fans.

You are right Michael. The effect was forced through a directX .dll. Similar to how Crysis does field of view, FSX CAN do it too.
