@palita007 Temporary admin. And I don't know why it works. I assume it is because when it's 'applying personal settings', you're classed as an admin until they have been fully apllied. And you're stopping that apply procedure from happening.

@dannydjduc99 You can also type "Command.com" onto notepad then save it as a ".bat" file. Once you open that file after it has been saved, CMD should work. It works at my school.

All you do is start a new notepad document. the only thing you type in the notepad is "command.com" and save it as "cmd.bat"

That's all it takes to make a cmd at school. Not hard.

@anantanni With Vista and 7, you are not notified when the personal settings are being applied. They also do it a lor quicker than XP does. It is probably possible, but you have to get your timing exactly right.

...limited account even more limited, and if you want your school files then you would type in the address bar "\\pheonix\students$\testuser" (replace pheonix with your school server name and testuser with your username) looking around my school server i found all the install files with serials :) (what might work to get an admin form this though is to type in to run "control userpasswords2"

No, the reason it makes you an administrator on a school computer is because they are connected to a server via ethernet. Thats why when you pull the ethernet cable out it makes you an admin. Unless you've set up a server at home, this wont work.
