@TheLastNail I've watched virtually the entire series, not all, but most. There are indeed many unknowns in our past and we should try to determine the answers. But this must be done in a logical and systematic fashion. This particular episode stated numerous factual errors. If the producers were interested in truth they would have not made these errors. I have no agenda, I simply watched the show and made a comment using the knowledge that I have. Tell me, have you looked at both sides?
The point is that we have been taught two 'realities': supernatural deities and evolution. It's not that I choose to not believe them--I just don't. My only agenda is that I believe that there is a lot more to the story and this series starts to ask questions and suggest other possibilities. You shouldn't dismiss the whole theory because some 'fact' doesn't line up with what you've been told. Most of what they say is what if? not here's the truth: believe or burn in Hell.
@TheLastNail Yes, asking questions is vital, there are many "mysteries" in our past, and the scientific community doesn't have all the answers. But my point is that many of the "facts" presented in this series are bogus and would have been known if the research had been done. Such as, Sitchin made stuff up, Vimana being flying vehicles comes from a psychic in 1918, Alexander the Great never saw a UFO, Columbus saw a small light "as a candle" not a UFO falling into the sea, etc...

@TheLastNail I've watched virtually the entire series, not all, but most. There are indeed many unknowns in our past and we should try to determine the answers. But this must be done in a logical and systematic fashion. This particular episode stated numerous factual errors. If the producers were interested in truth they would have not made these errors. I have no agenda, I simply watched the show and made a comment using the knowledge that I have. Tell me, have you looked at both sides?

The point is that we have been taught two 'realities': supernatural deities and evolution. It's not that I choose to not believe them--I just don't. My only agenda is that I believe that there is a lot more to the story and this series starts to ask questions and suggest other possibilities. You shouldn't dismiss the whole theory because some 'fact' doesn't line up with what you've been told. Most of what they say is what if? not here's the truth: believe or burn in Hell.

But my point is that many of the "facts" presented in this series are bogus and would have been known if the research had been done. Such as, Sitchin made stuff up, Vimana being flying vehicles comes from a psychic in 1918, Alexander the Great never saw a UFO, Columbus saw a small light "as a candle" not a UFO falling into the sea, etc...

I can't believe these guys and their lack of confidence in human ingenuity. They accredit the building of all of these magnificent ancient sites to aliens or claim that aliens at least had a hand in their construction. I think we built them all ourselves. If you give someone enough incentive to do something, they'll figure out a way to do it. The problem here is that there is so much speculation (read: "assumptions") without evidence that it is hard to sift through the junk. If it needed 20 years to construct the Great Pyramid, as Herodotus implies, although smaller, the other 2 pyramids would have been of an identical time scale so they all would have been created in a time scale of 55 - 60 years. Even then that is not the end of the issue because down the western edge of the desert, there are 92 pyramids. and it goes on lol

There are some other explanations about this (besides the 'aliens') - for example the freak waves. The place may be 'convenient' for the frequent formation of freak waves, which explains the mysterious disappearance of ships, but not of the airplanes ... unless the freak waves have any 'aerial' component as well.

It is interesting though, as I observe my own reactions to these datum, that I am prone to believe in aliens. What else could explain it? Then again, when the world was flat, people just like me, just as smart/stupid/whatever, also jumped to conclusions about witches, demons, gods, etc. I'm going to slow down and try and stick with pure science. The Alien thing is THEORY based largely on LEGENDS, which may be purely someone elses idea of what MAY have happened.
Anyway, I'd like to KNOW!!

The statistical "evidence" of other life does in all honesty require some guesswork on the part of the person performing the calculation made famous by Frank Drake. That said it is a basically sound conclusion by most standards, just not "Proof" with a capital "P". (Also Shenmueproject: Although some of the comments were absolutely obnoxious - no doubt about that - I think you might have meant "oblivious" although to be truthful "obnoxiously oblivious" might be a very good analysis!

gotta love the people that hop onto these comment boards and instantly say that none of this is real. Yes, these are all speculations but they are showing tangible clues and historic evidence that some of these theories could be real. People like that are just scared of what is really going on and can't comprehend new things.

@TalmSawyer that is what i think, i mean lately I have been seeing a lot more alien shows coming on and ironic how there have been a lot of "alien" movies, although not real, it is still in the same category lol Building up info piece by piece is better than slapping all of it in our face expected to digest all of it in a matter of short time. IF they are building up this stuff and spoon feeding it to us, the government better do it soon because secrets can't be kept from billions of people lol.
