  • this model engine is the nicest model engine i ever seen

  • WOW i would love to have one of these for my HHO experiments. CHEERS FROM JAMAICA

  • is das normal so mit der fetten Zündspule? Hat das Teil nen Unterbrecher oder wie genau geht das?

  • Very nice work, I am assuming you built it yourself? I was expecting to see a hit or miss engine but this one is running too fast to ever be one of them. Runs on petrol I presume?

    Cheers from the USA!

  • so how many hp?

  • so is that tank on top for coolant?

  • Please see:

  • i wanna build a 2 stroke from scratch. :).

  • i wish someone would film these with a high speed camera

  • looks like the oil is to hot

  • WOW!Very nice engine!!!!!

  • looks like a banging rabbit:)

  • That's a nice little engine :)

  • how does it time the ignition?

  • @SthealthRaider At about 1:37 you can see a little gear assembly and push-rod on the left hand flywheel that presumably operates the valves.

  • this stuff is awesome, 5 stars

  • hello Alex can you give me details of the ignition conversion as i want to do the same to my little wonder

    thanks Trevor

  • What fuel do you use? Do you have any details of the spark ignition conversion?

  • why does it have 2 fly wheels?

  • the flywheels are made out of aluminim alloy, one would be too light!

  • ah. ok thanks for the info! :) great job

  • Most engines of this design, like the stover, had two flywheels, it's good for smooth running.

  • @ihelk Maybe the original idea was to ensure compatibility with appliances that turned both clockwise and anti clockwise

  • @ihelk if you look at alot of other engines of this type, they all normally have 2!

  • Clever cooling system. How well does it keep the engine temp in check?

  • Is this the hit and miss engine they have on the adverts in old glory and the dorset steam fair giude?

  • No probably not. It's throttle governed, no hit and miss and I have not seen it yet on any adverts.

  • oh ok lol

  • so that is water in the hopper there?

  • yes that's right. The white thing floating on the water is some oil. I usually add a shot of WD40 into the hopper after running the engine to prevent rusting of the cast iron liner.

  • Hopper?

  • do you use a spark plug in this?

  • yes!
