Nothing Xbox 360 has will EVER compare to MGS4 or any MGS game for that matter. MGS is the best game series EVER true masterpieces way ahead of it's time perfect games not a single flaw. I pity Xbox fanboys they will never experience anything as EPIC as this.

I'd like to add, yes the next Metal gear will be on both platforms, but

Watching Snake develop from the the first game on the PS1 to his last and final battle on the PS4 is an amazing experience that xbox owners will miss out on ( The HD collection won't include MGS4 )

I got my PS3 on the strength of MGS4 alone, as I couldn't miss out snakes final chapter. The new game won't have snake in it and won't be overseen by Hideo, so it will be a new story which I'm sure will great but not the same!

This here theme makes you realise the Jounrey of Big boss from Snake Eater, And the CLone Snake's missions, and even Raiden(Which was kinda silly but still a cool guy) became epic in the Fourth game :o)

Kojima is brilliant. He can make you burst into tears just by making snake walk through a helipad... in a series where an entire lineage of Johnnies can't control their bowel movements when on duty. The series has it all - Mecha-T-rexes, heartbreak, sibling rivalry, nostalgia... and poop jokes.

@crazycat690 I really hope you're right crazy cat, and I hope that I'm wrong, but I just have this instinctual feeling that there will still be a good plot however the espionage and strategy will be replaced by a really shiny physics engine with very violent cutting. It's sad to me because I always tried not to kill people in the game but instead avoid all confrontation like a true spy. I've seen this happen to all my favorite games since childhood. I.E., Resident evil. But who knows...

It will cost as much as a gaming PC if they want to equal prestation which will be around 1200 euros. Most of the "casual gamers" which are usually console gamers can't afford this.. They will wait for a few more years...

@videomakertje PS4 has been in development for a while now, and I doubt, considering the regular console cycle, it will be out in almost five years. There has never been a console in existence that has had a life cycle of over ten years, and I can almost assure you that it's coming out soon. Same with the new Xbox model. Even if it does cost as much as a gaming PC, that isn't going to delay a release date for Sony or Microsoft. Maybe I'm wrong, but who knows?
