  • got a question for ya, will a 12volt 1.6 amp 35watt wall adapter power a 80's style Silvania Halogen dimable car light? (a large round reflector with Halogen bulb built in) I want to use it as a low power lamp, it turns on slowly with 12volts worth of D-cell batteries.

  • wow! this is interesting. will look for your other videos. -caryl :-)

  • You have a hp pavilion dv1000 laptop xD

  • @TheGeek205

Its a ze2113us (but uses the same battery and charge connection as the dv1000)

  • I just picked up a ezgo golf cart with 6 -110 minute at 75 amp batteries. I also have the 36 volt charger. Now I am trying to find vids on the "new format" censortube, for setting the system up for "off the grid".

  • i did the same thing in 06 and still going using a 1500w inverter and 4 sealed acid lead batteries

  • like that your going green but your going to kill yourself with those batteries in your bedroom. not a good set up!!!!

  • @3382187900

I've just recently re-did it and now have a sealed AGM battery

  • Using 110v (the power grid) is cheaper in the long run. Your setup would be good for camping or power outages though. If you are going to keep those (non sealed) lead acid batteries in the house, you really should get an appropriate battery box.

  • you can make distilled water for free using a dehumidifier

  • @14gco you should not drink dehumidifier or air conditioner water because of solder on the condenser coils

  • good job buddy , can u tell me where did u get the solar controller? many thanks.

  • @free888368 I got the charge controller from Northern Arizona Wind and Sun

  • Love it very inpirational :) 12 volt room, then the entire house, the neiborhood, the country, the then the WORLD!!!!

  • hey man i see to u is put u batery in u room!!!!! this is dangeros man u can blow put it in u garage beter

  • Extra water won't hurt anything. :-)

  • wal-mart radio? it sucks. smash it plugged 110v

  • "Hm, what's my volkswagon emblem doing here?"

I'm jp, but great video, you just sounded funny with that self question.

  • How do you like the C40A charger?

  • hey i have a go cart and i want to hook up a radio to it the go cart has a 12 volt battery and i have no clue how to do it could you please tell me what to do

  • @Rustler007 it is easy you just need a wiring diagram of the stereo once you have found positive and negative your set

  • What model was that HP laptop?

    I'm guessing HP Pavilion dv1xxx.

  • ZE-2113us

  • So far off.

  • Why don't you use sealed batteries since you don't have a vented setup?

  • I would have gotten some Concord/Lifeline AGM batteries but they are expensive and I actually got the golf-cart batteries for free from a neighbor.

  • The vapor from the charging batteries is toxic and could be fatal. You need to put batteries in sealed box, vent them to outdoors, maybe dryer venting and hoses.

  • it's not toxic, hydrogen is already in the air, as well as oxygen. However, it is a fatal or serious hazard if you spark or light a flame nearby, as it could cause a serious explosion

  • Yes it is toxic when charging, and especially if the fluid level is low. Google "charging batteries toxic fumes" and the lead acid battery comes up first.

  • nice to see an update this project is amazing
