You would have do away with many of the novel's intellectual intricacies, and add a bit of common action here and there. Plot or Characterisation? Like Morgan Freeman himself attested, this particular Sci-Fi story is rooted in Clarke's intellectual interpretation of life in outer space.
One day I'm going to make this game into a movie- just as soon as I get my degree from UCLA film institute. Clarke's wasn't only a Sfi-Fi novel, it was also a very profound inquiry into the possibility of there existing life beyond our planet, that is far more advanced and intelligent. The Rama's seem to be very artistically gifted- just look at some of their unsual artifacts. . Well done to the producers, and Clarke for writing the novel.

Yes the game has mouse support, you have to play it with one. Just use Dosbox. runs perfectly ;)
