  • i still dont like those valkyries because they need a lot of fuel.....

  • 0:40 look at the joint that connects the 'leg' to the body. That think piece of metal has to be made of some seriously hard metal, or else that will break in into pieces.

  • Na VF-0S has the better design but I don't like the two-seater design. The truth is that many UN Spacy aviators were nuggets except for Roy Focker.

  • cool thing about Macross Zero "SOVIET" valkyries!

    Sv51's look like commie valkyries

  • Yes. If you are a Macross fan you would know the story (no insult here). Those are Sukoi (sp?) designs. The anti-UN forces stole technology from the Macross and made their own designs.

The UN Forces VF-0s are based upon the F-14 Tomcat design. I clearly say the SV-51s are the better design. No disrepect to Roy, but DD and Nira were far better pilots, even compared to Shin.

  • Roy was a okay pilot in U.N wars, he certainly wasn't the best. Of course overtime he got better to the Roy we all know and love in SDF Macross.

As you can see in ep 2, Roy still can't beat his old instructor.

  • We all love Roy. That is just a fact of life. I wish we could have seen him shoot down D.D. But neither him nor Shin could best them.

I own all Macross 1/60 stuff. The SV-51 (r) (mass) are just amazing. So are the VF-0 (S) (A) with the Ghost Boosters are just rock n roll too.

The fact that Shin almost got Nora in an F-14KAI (the Japanese super version of the F-14 that is not rivaled int he world) says a lot.

  • at least this means they are not fighting giant aliens

  • I firmly believe this is greatest scene ever in Macross movie history. And the way the poster kept it true in high-def has my thanks. I get goosebumps every single time I watch this scene. I sent this link to all my friends and every one of them loved it.

I am very thankful Macross exists. And also thankful for the fans who live in it too.

  • ive always wondered what was the music playing in the background?

  • This is from the soundtrack. All Macross movies have soundtracks you can buy. Most use world-class symphony orchestras. This soundtrack also used Japanese Opera singers for "The Song of Destruction".

No one ever gives any of these people credit for putting their heart and soul into these movies for the rest of us.

  • i love the fact that u didn't add some lame as emo music like half the other people on youtube did

the original version of it was best
