I've played GTA since the first one, and it's never made me violent.

If anything, it helps me by unleashing any/all frustration on FICTIONAL characters (no harm to any real people) so i have no chance whatsoever of aggressing a real human being.

I work at gamestores, and I should know, we NEVER sell M+ games to kids without their parents. We only sell them when they are with adults with IDs.
