Hmm.., while that is true if you looked at some data about the sonic rainboom it is said that right as she makes the sonic rainboom, her current speed is at Mach 5.8 and after completing the sonic rainboom, the speed is doubled to around Mach 10, these are only rounded numbers. But the fact still stands, there is resistance and you can see that. Like I said before, speed and gravity is needed, sonic could be faster if he had an advantage such as wings and a propulsion system, sorry but I stick

If I'm not wrong, mach 1 is the speed of sound, so he can exceed the speed of sound.

Not to mention his theme on Sonic CD is called "Sonic Boom" for a reason. And on the anime he does Sonic booms all the time like it's nothing.

@D0uch3846 I can't remember the second one, which I found on DA, but there's a video on here that sources to Mach 10... it's the " DEATH BATTLE!: Starscream VS Rainbow Dash " TBH I've also seen extimates that mach 2 are her top speed, and even mach .3, but the latter of course cannot be true otherwise the boom wouldn't have happened. I personally think she went an AVERAGE of mach 1.3 (dividing distance of Rarity's fall by the time it took to save her)

I've never bothered to see rule 34 of Sonic but I do know that MLP has their share of rule 34 too. Unoriginal characters who's designs are based off of pre-existing templates of other characters, especially the main/mane cast. I think bronies actually have this worse than Sonic fans. While Sonic fans have been at this longer, bronies have an extreme lack of original templates. From the fan art I've seen involving fan characters, their models are the same as the shows except for the marks.

@Gokan407 Actually Sonic is clocked at about 3,800 mph (Not transformed or using a special ability/item) Rainbow Dash when she reaches top speed also get's to about 3,800 mph, the proof of her speed is right there given by the mach cone that forms around her. So in pure speed they are about even, but Super Sonic is still way faster then Rainbow Dash even when she uses the Sonic Rainboom. Super Sonic can travel faster than a lightning bolt, while Rainbow Dash goes to about 7,600 mph (mach 10)
