I've seen about 5 vids of this same boss battle of different systems of this game (SNES,GBA,DS etc) and all of them including this vid have the same thing happen, Rydia dies and while they have Kain use "jump" they kill zeromus before kain comes back down, those two things ALWAYS happen while fighting zeromus, its just so ironic lmao

on zeromus ds version you can steal from him until you get dark matter the key item start a new game with all your items and go to the rock on the moon that looks like a face and use it then prepare yourself for a realy hard boss!!!!

kill off as many characters without sacraficing the ability to fight/heal and fight zombie dragons or something weak like that for 1 or 2 characters i was surprised to see how much exp each fight gives without getting your hands very dirty works for me hope this helps

For Bahamut, you have to go into the cave of fathers on the moon and travel through it and at the end face Bahamut, for Leviathan you have to go to the Feymarch and defeat Asura then Leviathan and for Odin you have to go to the king of Baron after the Feymarch and fight the king. For excalibur you take the rat's tail to the mountain by Mythril and the dude will give you some adamantite. Give this to Kokkul with the mythgraven blade and he'll forge it for you.

Have Cecil focus 3 times (assuming you've given him the focus augment) and use darkness. Have Rosa shell & protect everyone. Have Kain use Bless if you've given it to him. When you use the crystal have cecil attack straight away, Rosa on standby, Rydia defend, Kain use cry if he has it, Jump if not. Have Edge attack. When Zeromus shakes, have everyone defend then after big bang Rosa needs to curaga everyone or dualcast cura. Use all you have on him, read next post.

It always depend of you (if you're experienced or not). Some people will follow guides and get bonus skills so it's easier to kill him but I didn't really know about those skills so that's why I'm that high

Actually if you fight all the battles on the moon, pretty much the very hard enemies and boss encounter enemies in random battles in the DS version they give you a TON of experience. I found myself going from low to mid 60's to mid 70's without any real intent to grind.

yes you can...upper 50s and low 60s is possible if you have lots of elixirs and have both cecil and rosa constantly healing. With the addition of the augments, having omnicast on rosa makes the game a hell of alot easiler

There are specific monsters you have to kill in order to get coloured tails. Once you got one, just go see the tail trader and he will you very good stuf for it (probably the best armor and weapons in the game)

If I remember well I killed all my chatacters except cecil and I went to the cave near Eblan. Kill the golems and you'll win a lot of experience (I think that if u kill 2 golems with only cecil you'll get around 54000 experience). But make sure Cecil has counter attack so it will be easier for you to kill them.

I can't beat him. All my chracters are at level 90, and Cecil has maxed out HP, and Rydia and Rose have maxed out MP, i have Leviathan and Bahamut summons, as well as Meteor, and i still lose. Any advide? Please don't say get tails, because that takes WAY too long to do.

Well... Make sure Rosa is not attacking in your team. Make sure she only heals your other characters.(I simply made another spell with her and I almost lost in this video). Also ,make sure he is always slow (with slow spell). Only cast bahamut with rydia, jump with kain, attack and sometime cast the barrier spell when he does dark hole with Cecil and finally throw some fuma shurikens with edge.

Getting the right augments are also important. I give Rydia the +50% MP aug, +50% HP aug, and Bluff aug if I had it, Rosa the Fast Talker and Omnicast augs, Cecil the Phoenix Aug (make sure he always has max MP), and I'd probably give Kain the Cry aug if I had it as well, and I debated whether to give him the Darkness aug or not.
