My father passed away 11 days ago and this song will be played at his funeral on 4th February, 2011. RIP my dearest Dad from your only daughter. Thanks Ray Davies.

Just saw Ray in concert on 3/12/'10 in Lorain, OH: amazing.

I lost my mother at the weekend, so I have been listening to this version a lot. It makes me cry but it also helps me deal with the grief. Thank you very very much Ray, I just wish I could shake your hand and thank you in person.
