couldnt get to the health and mana there off to the right, i think when the platform dips down it might be possible, any help?

what's the difference between absolving or punishing?

@pianddogito when u punish you get unholy points when you absolve you get holy points

points= experience

Absolving: Sending the souls to heaven = More Cross Strength

Punishing: Damn the souls = More Syth Strength

Just like it says. Absolving = Absorb them for more souls to collect while punishing them just gives you the default of what you would get for killing them with melee.

I would've liked to have seen the upgrades menu, see what you bought and such. Makes it feel like less of a complete game without it. I -do- like how you only end segments at the next save point though. Very nice and new way of recording a game.
