i havent used one but maybe dont gun it all the time or give it so much power im just gessing i really dont what im talking about but try it lol just dont go crazy on the acceleration all the time.
well its not very fast standard but i have one and i have put a 21turn motor in it. it only cost me £10 and it does about 30mph with a 3500mAh battery. all though my mate has the same car and he has fitted hpi's own 15turn motor with a better speed control with a 3500mAh battery and that cost him £50. my car was bought in the touring setup but on the day i got it i changed it to drift setup it is much better
i would suggest you get a traxxas battery and adapter and it will run alot longer than the nosram battery ur using but other than that just practicing can make u btter
I've upgraded to HPI Drift Meister 17T High performance motor with HPI SC-15 Electronic Speed Controller and powered by Nosram 3300
mAh battery and T-Drift 'A' Type tyres. Runs good on road surfaces. Also aluminium strut tower bar and center drive shaft. Looking forward for the locked differential, universal drive shaft and sway bar for extra smooth drifting control. Lastly the body tuner kit.
I'm using 05mm white / red and yellow ultra bright wide visible angle LEDs for the headlights and tailights respectively. Drilled a 4.8mm hole on the body shell where you see the light decals sticker is, for the LED clear light holder and it will fit in snugly. Using button cell CR2032 3V isolate it with a normally open micro on/off switch.
You may find all this things in your local electronics components store.

Buy the HPI E10 Locked differential and you will drift 50% better!

Thanks for the comment. What's the part number for that locked differential? Maybe I can check with my local HPI retailer.
