My only concern is that he, at USC, played beside linebackers R. Maualuga and B. Cushing. How would he stand on his own and did those beforementioned enable him to hide shortcomings?

Also will his short amount of starting experience make this pick yet another gamble, on a first round prospect?

I think the #24 pick is partially decided by whether or not we are offering a contract to L.J Smith (TE from the Eagles).

I would agree with J.Mike on the Clay Matthews pick. Imo we arent gonna get the quality at the defensive tackle or Safety position that would warrant a first round pick at #24.
