@funkidelicFrank I would have to do some research, I am not an etymologist or anything, but Jesus is the Greek version of the word Yahshua (as you spell it) or as others spell it "Yahshuah." I think I've seen other spellings too.  Yahshua would be the Hebrew and probably the way Jesus would have pronounced it. I like Yahshua too, just haven't gotten used to saying and spelling it that way.
