  • Isn't this the version off the Feeding the Flames album? (I love both versions)

  • Love this band, brings back alot of memories..

  • I wrote the lyrics to this song and my good friend Simon Blanchard wrote the music. We were very young but the words are still true. Every other lyric I have ever written flows from this song.

  • Nice

  • This version was originally released on the In The Breeze lp.

  • SAD LOVERS & GIANTS are playing LIVE at the Purple Turtle venue in Camden, London on September 4th 2011... not to be missed!

  • La palabra grupo de Culto aqui cobra sentido

  • This is my THEME SONG! Crank up the volume!

  • I could keep listening to this song over and over.

  • Timeless music.

  • Oke they are not the same but there are paralells. The same time like the Chameleons and big country and modern English. There is so much to find out if you are not from that time. The early 80 is the best part in music history.Everything later is from that moment. So said I.

  • The singer's voice in this sounds very like Robert Smith's of the Cure. Are they from the same part of Britain? I love this song and would love to know!

  • @BooksMusicMe17

they are from watford (just north west of london) the cure are from crawley (south, between london and brighton)

  • Great to hear this again, thank you!

  • Love this song!

  • Epic! ;)

  • @trubies AVUI!!!

  • that song really calms me down.

  • A certifiable Post Punk classic, glad to find it here, cheers!

  • I love this song, have faved it and saved it!

  • @Circumpunk Thanks

  • This song is from the LP "Feeding the Flame" not "Epic Garden Music".

  • @mothwings :o really? You mean the CD released in 1988, right? cos Imagination is neither in Epic Garden Music 1982 nor Feeding the Flame 1983 vinyls, but it's in both CD's so sorry but I'm not wrong, (you are if you say it's not in EPG). Anyway, thanks for the comment.

  • @INM0R4L

Sorry! I was going off of what allmusic.com said:

But then again you shouldn't trust everything you read online I guess.

I'm only 18 so I wasn't round when the original vinyl came out unfortunately.

  • @mothwings Np, I've got all the vinyls of SLAG but Clé and Colourless Dream, which are a real obsession by now to get. More than 10 years ago, I found Colourless Dream but it was so scratched that was a scratch more than a vinyl so I didn't buy it, though I was like 5 mins deciding to do it just for the cover xD. Anyway you made me have to go look it. I guess the reason I posted EPG and Not FTF is because EPG is the first album of SLAG. I can't find any other reason about it.

  • @INM0R4L

Sounds like you sir have an awesome collection.

Subscribed to your channel btw. I <3 Post-Punk

  • @mothwings Thanks for the subscription but forget about the sir thing xD I'm just a grown kid like everyone, though many will pretend to be something else.

  • The album cover is an injustice to the contents. Who ever designed the cover should have their eyes plucked out by ravens! Thanx for the upload mate!

  • @Circumpunk

    It's not THAT bad.

  • @mothwings I think the guy looks like the kid in Schindler's List who took a dive into the shitter to avoid certain death. Hahahaha! I love the song though.

  • @Circumpunk Hahaha I've got to say, for me, is the worst cover they ever made. Maybe for another band wouldn't seem so weird but it has nothing to do with the typical style of SLAG. The second worst would be Total Sound which is the same, it might be cool, but doesn't fit them.

  • Hearing this, guitarist Tristan Funk is very reminiscent of the Edge in his style, yet his playing is cleaner still, and those rhythmic scratches he does during the verses are about enough to make your wrist break - what a player :D

  • Epic Garden Music was a great record.

  • very nice

  • Excellent

  • Grazie

    dei bei ricordi

  • Thanks for posting could find this song anywhere!
