You think it's a coincidence that Pittsburg, Tampa, Carolina, Anaheim, and now Boston fall under the category of teams that needed money for one reason or another and were helped in the season or in the Playoffs to make a push for the Cup... The only team that was unsuccessful in the NHL's push for the cup was Philadelphia and San Jose.

Although the two teams do hate each other it is important to point out they have a great deal of respect for one another as well, as can clearly be seen from Thomas' and Price's post game comments. The fans should respect one another as well and let the trash talking and hate cease over a game of hockey !!!

Also, montreal no longer has domination over draft picks coming from quebec. They used to have better players on their farm team who never made the NHL than most NHL teams had on their rosters.
That does not happen anymore and that is why montreal sucks.

Montreal isn't and wasn't a contender and Boston proved they had the depth and that's why they won the cup. Montreal doesn't have any depth. For you to compare Gorges to Chara is another knee slapper too. Ferrence and Campbell could have been replaced by anyone. What are you so jealous about?
