Holy Mother,,,We as your sons and daughters, are slow to learn, and please accept our apologies for having to appear so many times to try and bring peace between people and lead them to your son Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, Pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death.
Let us start a habit of praying the Rosary, pray for the souls that they may be led to heaven. Let us continue not to displease our Lord who is already suffering greatly.
As the garage workmen who were watching the apparition were all Moslems, they looked on keenly and they all became extremely astonished. The Blessed Virgin who appeared in a luminous body, moved on the dome and bowed and knelt before the cross..!
I have had the bliss of witnessing the Virgin's apparitions over the domes of Virgin's Church in Zeitoun.
Plus, religion is supposed to be a source of spiritual intelligence, shouldn't pure light and truth enlighten the understanding instead of just blotting it with dogma?
This craving for supernatural signs is not the original faith taught by Christ himself who condemned a religion based on miraculous evidence, in his words: "an evil and adulterous generation ask me for a sign". We should judge a religion not by its ability to produce signs (like voodoo!) but by the soundness of its doctrine and the lasting effects on individuals, communities and nations. Again Christ: "by their fruits thou shalt know them".
I respect this and honor people's right to worship whatever they like as long as it is not harmful to others. But I am bothered by these elaborated meanings given to a silent shape of light.
Remeber children are why she is here. As one gets older they are scarred from truely opening up to the love out father and His mother has for all who suffer, you suffering is non- beilef. What we time time to be is nothing compared to god time. Harnessing time give time to question rather than accept truth. Daniel
There was also an apparition in 2000 in Asyout, Egypt and I was there :) If you want to see more miracles of Jesus come to Egypt and I will never regret it. There are MANY miracles in Upper Egypt that are still available to witness. One of the miracles I want to share with you is the The Moving of
El Mokattam Mountain, Cairo in 965 AD. The Coptic Orthodox Church is FULL of miracles made by THE Lord: The Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit; the one God Amen
You are correct. We are to worship only one God. The Father, Son, or Holy Spirit. They are one in the same. As I understand it they are all one God in three different faces or roles so to speak. We only ask Mary to intercede for us to her son as she did at the wedding of Cana. Though it was not time yet for his first miracle, Jesus could not deny his chosen mother, our Blessed Mother Pray to her and
I'm Anglo-Catholic Anglican (which means "ex-Episcopalian"). We have lady chapels and shrines, some of us pray rosaries or litanies. It's not worship, really- it's respect, veneration. Some of us venerate holy images, like the Crucifix on Good Friday. I have a few Anglican type icons, too, and a crucifix on the wall. It's a more "sacramental" approach to faith. I think a Lutheran would understand that moreso than other Protestants, right?
WE Catholics only worship God the Holy Trinity. We pray to Mary and Saints to intercede for us- kinda like when you ask someone to pray for you - I hope that helps clear things up. The "Hail Mary " Prayer is basically the same words the Angel Gabriel said to Mary and is thus prayed, "Hail Mary, full of Grace, the Lord is with you, blessed art thoug among women and blessed is the fruit of your womb=Jesus, Holy Mary Mother of God pray for us sinners now and at the hour of our death amen."
Creepy! I am Catholic and i find this a little spooky, i dont know what i would do or say if i see that, its cool but kind of spooky at the same time, great documentary!
Although you made your comment a few months ago I just want to say, that the Virgin Mary is not worshipped.
But the Holy Bible does say that she will be called "blessed" by all.
Read your Bible and see for yourself. I think you will discover that to call the Virgin Mary "Blessed" is not to worship her as a "god" but as a sign of respect.
If the Scriptures are sacred to you, then you must recognize this type of love for the Virgin Mary.
Christianity in Egypt was bought by st.mark just like st.peter to italy.Egypt is orthodox not catholic but we ask st.mary for her intercessions, and by her apparitions through the power of god,it gives hope to the Coptic Orthodox christians in egypt that god is with them
I'm very Jealous!!!! I wish I could have been there, even though I wasn't even born yet at that time lol. I also saw a video on YouTube of flashing lights and a possible vision of her in Egypt in 2000, I also am jealous I wasn't there for that either!!! But maybe someday I will be worthy of the Kingdom of Heaven so I can meet my Creator God, my Savior Jesus, and My Blessed Mother.
Ps. Pause at 2:39 and you can see a very clear picture of the face.
I wish she would come back now, and show her self to the world and to let us all know there is still hope for this broken world we now live in. I can only pray for peace.
Mary is coming to rescue all Chirsitians and inocent people in Muslim countries. Jus twatch some of those horrible movies of Police brutality and Christian executions in Egypt, those who do nto choose to convert to Islam!I am nor Egptian or Muslim9thank God) but I know how much christians in Turkey Egypt etc in Muslim countries have been suffering in silence for such a long time and now Mary comes to help them form all their sufferings!
I am agnostic and fascinated by these claimed apparitions and how people interpret them

We don't worship Mary or the Saints--we ask them to pray for us, just as we would ask a friend still on earth to pray for us.
