Citizentube, why was it left up to CNN executives to decide the questions in the CNN/YouTube Republican debate? I thought the debate was not very professional, and the moderator let Giuliani and Romney bicker like 5 year olds rather than go to the questions. I also object to the questions chosen for Dr. Paul. He was asked about conspiracy theories and if he'd run as a 3rd party candidate for his 90 second responses. Why was he disrespected in this manner??
CNN did a terrible job! Red Sox or Yankees? WTF! Will we spend money to go to MARS! Terrible debate. The Ron Paul questions was an attempt at a smear, Romney and Guliani more of same crap for America...RON PAUL 08!
Well, you can clearly see that this was a setup. I wanted to see all the candidates answer all the questions. They didn't give Huckabee a whole lot of time. Romney looked pretty bad. Ron Paul looked more of a crazy old man than he did before! McCain had good response about our soldiers.
Mike Did great with the time and questions he had. !! GO MIKE GO!!
Ron Paul was dead on and handeled himself very well, maybe if Huckabee can get out of debt with his campaign finances he might get a tad more time than Duncan Hunter.
utubesucks0000* Dr. Paul has a touch of mental illness. He has paranoid delusions of a transinternational highway that some secret forces are planning. It's sad really because he's probably very intelligent. Hopefully, he'll get the help he needs.
As for the debate, I think Huckabee and McCain stood out. Mitt Romney is as fake as a porn stars tits. Thompson and Giuliani were OK at best.
This total subversion from our democratic process just further fuels me to get more active in campaigning for Dr. Paul................"first they ignore you, then they ridicule you, then they fight you, then you win."--Mahatma Gandhi--
almost a total black out for the real front runner Ron Paul except,a couple loaded question.**ATTENTION PEOPLE YOUR REVOLUTION WILL NOT BE TELEVISED**Time to take it to the streets even more!!!!!More signs, more banners, more action, more!more!more!I'm painting google Ron Paul on my rear windshield, posting Who's Ron Paul signs on telepnone poles.I've rented rooms in New Hampshire for the 7th and 8th of jan.hope tom see some of you there...God bless all Ron Paul-08
You are 100% right, it was a messege to all the Americans not only Ron Paul, that they have the upper hand, it' was like a slap on the wrist to Ron Paul supporters, saying that: YOU GUYS ARE GOING NO WHERE OTHER THAN WHAT WE HAVE CHOSEN FOR YOU. Shame on CNN for being so manipulative, unbalanced in every aspect of it's debate.
um, this is showbiz folks. Americans love showbiz, love their TV. Plus ALL the candidates have "handlers", public relations people, trainers so they'll look "presidential".
Ron Paul would be an excellent President. But....he has no chance (and never did have a chance) of obtaining a GOP nomination for President. I don't know whether to call you RP supporters naive' or just plain stupid. It seems every Presidential election cycle there are people who actually believe that this is government by the people, for the people....replace people, with political parties...then you're on the right track.
There has been a history of honest candidates who dont get the nod.
But today, just about everything can be seen on a candidate with all the media, the meetings, the debates, the interviews, the speeches, their history, their views, their plans, their hypocrisies, their lies, their ideas, their principles, and what they say and do.
From it all, RON PAUL STANDS OUT TREMENDOUSLY
we cannot just give up. we might lose, BUT ITS BETTER TO TRY AND FAIL THAN TO NEVER TRY AT ALL
I have supported Ron Paul for a long time - before anyone knew him outside of his district. I don't always agree with him -but I always trust him. Even on the subjects where I think he is wrong-maybe we should give his ideas a shot. The others in either party have shown they don't have a clue.
Cool setup, but the owners of this netywork deplore Ron Paul. In their article they refereed to him as a side show. We will say what they try to orchestrate for him today. I am quite exited about watching this. GO RP!
Will anyone ever ask a candidate, Will your administration see to it that all the money the government has borrowed from the Social Security trust fund be paid back like it should be.
Just look at all their records and see who has always voted "no" against such policies. Who wants real money and elimination of the federal reserve. They are our money problem. They are private bankers who create money from nothing and thats why we are bankrupt.Ron Paul is the only Logical, honest, constitutional choice!
How will the mainstream media try to marginalize Ron Paul this time? Will CNN ask a loaded question, or will they not give Ron Paul a chance get involved in the debate? Will CNN merely alienate Ron Paul as the other mainstream media channels have done, or will they actually acknowledge the fact that Ron Paul is surging in the polls.
CNN is a cheerleader for Hilary Clinton. It's so obvious. Equally obvious, was their attempt to alienate Kucinich in the last Democratic debate. Watch this time CNN will try to alienate and marginalize Ron Paul. Why will they do this? Because Ron Paul is gaining a lot of momentum and he is seen as a threat to the establishment and status quo.
CNN bares a lot of the responsibility for getting the US involved in the mess in Iraq. Don't trust anything on CNN and especially FOX "News". It's all propaganda.
To me ,what would be a good question is,what makes you so special, that women should vote for you, instead of Hillary.Which would be spitting in the face of all the women, who marched, and went to jail for a womans right to vote 88 years ago.

(definition)"to keep in a safe or sound state; especially to avoid wasteful or destructive use of..."
...whatever your party leanings are please question ALL candidates' motives and can they live up to the word "conserve?"

True words Rrogers!
Wow that Republican debate was absolutely embarrassing!!!
I thought giuiani was the biggest schmuck then tancredo showed his true colors
THE REASON WHY RON PAUL DOESNT HAVE A CHANCE IS WHEN HES ONLY ASKED 5 QUESTIONS
every question he answered brilliantly
they should have ended w/ ron paul
but instead they end with a bs question on the yankees/red sox b/w romney & giuliani
GIVE RON PAUL A CHANCE. HE'S THE ONLY HOPE OUT OF THE REPUBLICAN CANDIDATES

total fucking sham as i stated before the debate, set up questions as bloody usual, democracy my arse.
