Ridiculous, you shot at a totally different location and yet you killed that sniper. And they also should've had a training level where they thought people who didn't know terms like backblast. Actually trying to get a clear rear so you can launch that AT properly would've made a ton of difference there, gameplay wise. Same problem was with DC's MoH. We were playing at a cafe and I constantly had to explain to my friend what the guys were talking about. Authenticity in script, not in gameplay.

The facts are, all the ratings for this game from big name sources (ign,GameSpot,etc,etc) for the single player are mediocre to poor. It's a heavily scripted corridor shooter which goes against what bf series is supposed to be, open world gameplay.
