I am a massage therapist and instructor, and the school I teach at uses the Mosby's Fundamentals of Therapeutic Massage. I have tried teaching from it, but I find it is dense reading and frequently uses terminology and concepts in the elementary sections which it doesn't clearly explain. Instead, I use the Salvo Massage Therapy Principles and Practice textbook, which find much clearer and better laid out. Just wanted to thank you, and I also enjoyed the video!
i,m a masajista from spain. i see many videos of masage good, but is these videos are very good and educativos, i would like see moore thank you. (excuse for my english is very bad.)
I'm learning a lot from your videos, you are an outstanding teaching, and I love your techniques. This is a very good video, thank you. I have a client who has an ankle fixated, he broke it years ago, any suggestions about how to work his legs?
@Rosibel79 Wish I knew more about this health to give an opinion. Deep circular friction around the most restricted areas might be a good option - hard to say.
I liked the cervical stretches.. never seen them like that.. i will be trying those out on some of my clients... I deal with a lot of neck pain and tight scalenes and SCM.
That's a great idea. Can you provide a bulleted list of contraindications I can post quickly? If you provide your name and affiliation, I will include in a byline.
Excellent moves! I just discovered all of your videos on Youtube-AWESOME! This one is a little shakey though--maybe the camera person should lay off the caffeine? (j/k)
I wish everyone one was this relaxed when I massaged them. I find some people just can't let go of control, when you are moving their limbs and what not. Is there something you say to your new clients when they start guarding or helping you lift their limbs? btw this is by far one of my favorite massage videos on youtube. I have been searching for something like this since becoming a massage practitioner
is this woman actually alive!

Very informative video.

looks nice but the neck moves look like they hurt
TheKillaKing17 2 years ago
Not at all - it's where you place your hand. Sounds like you may have gotten massage from someone who was pressing on the wrong area of the neck.

great instructions. I wish my school had videos like this. Very good job.

Thanks. This routine is usually difficult for students to learn. The video makes it much easier (they can watch it over and over again).

the cameraman is moving around too much.

I do select "clients" for youtube films that I know will relax and let go . This was no accident!!!
Sometimes it takes clients a little while (if they are new to massage) to relax and "be a ragdoll."
Being patient and tolerant helps too.
