@MrBullseye61 Presidents head the executive branch - they don't necessarily have the power to completely shutdown government alone, but they can shutdown certain parts of it and obstruct others to the point where they do not function. Libertarians are not much different from Anarchocapitalists, and like most anarchists they're much better at destroying than anything else.

He may have a certain acclaim as a republican who won a long-democratic seat, but nothing more - he's not particularly conservative (to the extent that he has a political leaning at all - he was elected as and still is a big question mark).
