I vissited Santa Paula a month ago.

The Stearman fit that place the best.

  • god dam i miss california:( its -24 where i am hehe... im goin to cali in a bit over a month though:D

  • It was 81* here today.

  • @fholbert oh man i cant wait to get downt there

  • @fholbert Compared to any other planes you've flown, how does the Stearman stack up against the rest of 'em? I'd like to be able to get one like this eventually.

  • You skipped all of wiljams rolls. No fun!!

  • Totally Cool1

  • wow will-jam didn't even do a river run or fly inder the powerlines... i would have asked for a refund and only one aerobatic??????? seems like in his old ade he has gotten soft

  • Nicely done!

  • Amazing video!

  • Incredible video, some good flying there in an iconic aircraft with some rather nice views. Good to get some ground video footage of the landing too. (Can you tell I want to fly one of those aircaft!) :-)

  • I really like this video and the music you used fits perfectly.

Do you have any video of landings at John Wayne Airport?

  • Just one, look for this video. "Cirrus SR22 flight from KSNA to O22"

  • This wasn't filmed in Kansas, was it? Very pretty area.

  • Ahh, no. It was filmed in SoCal just outside of LA.

  • Frank what does SoCal mean?

  • socal is socal departure or approach, its for San Francisco app/dep, Los Angeles, and San Diego I THINK, I'm not sure. Socal just means socal. Im not quite sure.

  • I know what it is. Some names mean something or was someone's name! Thanks anyway thohuh.

  • yeah SoCal departure and approach means the area around Los Angeles and it runs all the way up to Santa Maria. NorCal approach and departure is for the area around San Fransisco and all the way down to Monterey.

  • SoCal.....Southern California

  • No! it was in Santa Paula, CA.

  • Wow, that looked like fun!

  • Yea, that was a good ride.

  • What's the fuel burn on that radial?

And why isn't this on the front page??? It really is a fantastic video.

  • 14 GPH

Because that's not me in the back seat.

  • There is a guy who does Stearman tours (operates out of Cable.) After seeing this I might have to give it a try.

  • You have out done yourself this time.... I agree with TheBlueMarlin SC.... this is your best video yet!!

  • Outstanding!!!

  • I subscribe to you videos and I've seen all of them. This is the best one. I just called to airport and scheduled a Skyhawk. All of the sudden I really need to go flying.

  • Thank you very much.

  • You guys in CA get some good flying. That really looks like fun!

  • Yep, we are very lucky.

  • Landed at Santa Paula several times. What a fun airport.

  • Where are the falls from the airport?

  • They were NNW about 12 minutes. That's the best I can do. There was a trail to the falls but it would be more than a day hike, very steep. Will showed me a LZ where a chopper dropped them off but it was still a big hike.

  • All I can say is WOW!!! Great Video - I'm ready to go flying...

  • I gotta get one of those!

  • GO STEARMAN!!!!....Nice job man....someday ill make video like yours...not as good though hahaha..
